Really? Ana carrying OG alone?
No hating on Ana whatsoever (I really think he has the potential) but saying Ana can carry OG alone is a joke.

On the other hand, I do think Suma1l is THAT good and (IMO) he can be considered to be one of the best Mid ever (arguably; biased opinion).

Sorry, what I meant was he has the potential to be better, I know that he’s good, but saying that he can carry OG alone (whatever the case may be) is quite ridiculous tbh. You can’t deny the fact that OG plays around him, and both Fly and NoTail is building the hype around him (referring to the TrueSight alone).

Nevertheless, great article, and i do hope that Artour breaks his TI curse, although a top 3 finish would make me happy (for me at least).

So does EG with Suma1L, they play around him so he can shine and carrry the team most of the time. That’s why RTZ sucks right now, he has to play more sacrificial carry, like Fear did back then, and he’s not used to it.

In MDL I rarely saw him lose lanes. I think he’s hitting that point wherein you really can’t say his laning is the weakness.

my nitpick is that arteezy would definitely play venomancer and razor in the past.
i hate to say it this way, but i think he enjoyed playing venomancer particularly.
i have followed and studied him as a player for a long time and i don’t think he has changed very much since the beginning, unless we are purely talking about his willingness to give up farm. i think that only changed because it is now the requirement and still happens to be something that he truly excels at more than most.

I go heal at the shrine. How can you shine as a mid when you both have get-out-of-jail cards ala shrine? Even before shrine you had silly shit like double runes so whichever way you went top/bot you didn’t really lose much or gain much against the other guy you supposedly owned or lost to. I think this is why Arteezy doesn’t want to go back mid and is comfortable playing carry, why go mid when your superior mechanical skill doesn’t even matter much?

Think about the offlane when it used to be fairly suicidal, it was easier to notice who was a truly good offlane because you didn’t have shrine and other stuff that got you out of jail. If you shined as an offlane back in the day you really stood out, now there are so many bandaids that even if you are a good offlane there are others that shine too because of said bandaids.
