I was wondering, what pubstomp picks do you know of and in which situations. I’m talking about countering specific types of lineups, rather than heroes themselves.

Example, enemy has:

low AOE crowd control – meepo/brood/ck

low armor – slardar+lifestealer

low physical – oracle + huskar

weak laning phase – spirit braker/chen

primarily magical – phoenix

weak midlaner – visage/viper

low mobility – sandking/antimage

weak supports – batrider/natures

PA on rightclick reliant lineup

bane+mirana,
shadow demon + mirana
kunka+mirana
kunka+pudge
pudge+techies
dark seer + bounty hunter
rhasta + nightstalker both roaming

hard carry junglers – riki + spirit breaker

Into Nyineup if enemy doesnt have omni, dazzle or shit like shat

that beats the point of this thread, if a hero can be picked into anything then it’s pointless to mention him here, as he accomplishes nothing special.

low aoe, squishy cores (drow strat for example) – CK

Momentum based team = lane shredder (viper, silencer, etc)

Against Pushing strat – Pudge, Sniper, Kotl, Tinker, Sven, offlaner with low cd stun

lastpick od into heroes with bad mobility while your team has heroes that can tank for you

BS against low nuking low disable teams and weak offlane you can rape

low mobility safe lane – clock, weaver, timber
mostly rightclick team – pugna, legion

slardar lineups – lich

Not only the armor buff, they tend to agrupate into the stunned target. Good way to aply all youe debuffs and the ult.

low hard lockdown/burst is slark?

^ slark can do, but bs > slark

lots of slows few stuns – weaver

Monkey king – any lane, any matchup(just dont play roaming)

i like picking clock into lineups who rely on bkb initiation like enigma
weak enemy safelane or level 1 jungle pick leads me into underlord, taking tier2 at about 15min if they let me

also i like bara or riki vs level1 junglers who tend to fall low, warding enemy jungle early on and ruining their game

im just 2.7k tho, tell me if theres sth wrong about that 🙂

bad catch – tinker/morphling/puck/storm
weak aoe nukes – tb/meepo/chen
bad vision – nightstalker/batrider
no dot – templar assassin

ive won so many games off of a last pick storm

Squishy midlaner & bad roamers – Arc Warden
No supports – Pudge, Riki, Bara
No stuns – Bloodcyka, Storm, Slark
Greedy picks – Drow strat
Magic dmg lineups – Lifestealer, Huskar, AM
Melee lineup – Techies
Squishy enemies – Puck, Zeus, Tinker
INT cores – Nyx
No burst dmg – Necro, Void

Tanky lineup or problematic tanky meta hero – lifestealer, not many ppl pick him that way i think but he is amazing vs high hp pool heroes

3 or more squishy heroes – pudge, lately i pick this guy only when i see multiple targets or very often go to pick for me when pa is in enemy team, its hard counter early-mid

Agi heroes especially slark usually hard to catch, he is bit out of meta but my answer is always axe he is real hard counter for slark

Everyone know invo, silencer and their best counter nyx its actually rly ez beat them when you focus them all game

Invis – sb with dust ultimate counter especially bh

No much control in enemy team, late game high potential and your team can 4 man early – storm spirit
