Dota 2 post TI9 roster changes

After an exhilarating International 2019, the traditional roster shuffles have begun. Rosters disband, players are leaving, as well as some teams releasing players. Let’s go through what’s changed over the past month.

Evil Genius roster changes

In a major announcement made earlier today, Team Evil Genius officially announced the departure of Gustav “s4” Magnusson. He is now a free agent. Meanwhile, Syed “Sumail” Hassan is benched and open to transfer talks while he remains under contract. Abed “Abed” Azel L. Yusop is taking SumaiL’s spot while Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev replaces s4.

We’re welcoming a new roster for the 2019-2020 DPC season. This includes some new faces.

Gambit sign gpk

Gambit officially tweeted “We are pleased that gpk has joined Gambit. He’s a young and talented player, who proved himself at TI9 CIS Qualifier. On behalf of Gambit Esports, I’d like to wish him luck in an upcoming season. Welcome to Gambit, Danil!”

T1 announce Dota 2 roster

T1 announced their arrival by announcing a Dota 2 roster and signing Lee “ Forev ” Sang-don, who played for J. Storm from last September to this May.

Mineski members quit

Ryan “ Bimbo ” Jay Qui, Michael “ ninjaboogie ” Ross Jr. and Nikolay “ Nikobaby ” Nikolov announced via twitter that they are seeking new teams.

Complexity release entire roster

All five players along with the coach were released by Complexity due to poor performances.

Alliance move ahead with the same roster

Alliance co-owner Kelly Ong officially announced they don’t intend to make any roster changes.

Vici Gaming looks for a support player

After Pan “ Fade ” Yi’ announced his retirement, Vici Gaming are looking out for a new support player.

Keen Gaming roster finalized

Liu “ Kamma” Chang joins, Zhang “ LaNm” Zhicheng joins as a coach, Cai “ Mushi” Yeifeng joins as a free agent and Jiang “ Tianming” An is rented back.

Team Liquid roster leaves the organization

Kuro “ Kuroky” Salehi Takhasomi and co. decided to start their own player-run organization. Meanwhile, Team liquid seeks players or teams, intending to stay in the Dota 2 scene.

Team Aster updates roster

Aster announced on their Weibo that Sccc (Song Song), ChYuaN (Huang Jizhen), Xxs (Lin Jing), BoBoKa (Ye Zhibiao) and Fade (Pan Yi) are the new lineup.

Fnatic announce new roster

Nuengnara “ 23savage” Teeramahanon and Kam “Moon” Boon Seng join. Anucha ‘Jabz’ Jirawong returns to support position. Abed “ Abed” Azel L. Yusop and Kim “ DuBu ” Doo-young are released.

Maurice “ KheZu ” Gutmann leaves and Lasse Aukusti “ MATUMBAMAN ” Urpalainen tweeted that he is on a break until the second major.

Team Infamous Rejig

TNC Predator roster shuffle

TNC Predator confirmed the additions of Damien “ kpii ” Chok and Park “ March ” Tae-won, in less than twelve hours after revealing that Carlo “ Kuku ” Palad and Nico “ eyyou ” Barcelon left the Dota 2 team.
