The TI6 SEA Qualifiers standings for day 2 are in. TnC has secured their spot at TI6. Fnatic, Execration, WarriorsGaming. Unity and White Fries have advanced into the playoffs. Rave, Signature Trust, Mineski, Orange. Taring and The Mongolz have been eliminated. The double elimination brackets will kick off tomorrow June 27th, at 04:00 CEST.

The TI6 SEA Qualifiers standings are in after a long and eventful day has concluded for the day 2 group stage. Things got really heated today as the race for the first TI6 spot and the playoff spaces were on the line. Games got intense for the top teams with many being thrilling and exciting close matches.

Fnatic, Execration and TnC had compete in a tie-breaker as they all ended the day with a 7:2 record. Even though TnC had defeated both teams the day prior, they were not able to automatically advance.

At the end of it all, TnC has become the first team from SEA to earn their place at TI6.

TI6 SEA Qualifiers standings yield the four regional teams that will advance to the playoffs. Fnatic, Execration, WarriorsGaming. Unity and White Fries will fight for the second spot at TI6 as well as the TI6 Wild Card series spot.

Rave, Signature Trust, Mineski, Orange. Taring and The Mongolz have been eliminated.

TI6 SEA Qualifiers standings day 2

TnC, Fnatic and Execration all had incredibly strong and fantastic showings in the group stage. It was a close race for the first place spot which would award the winner with a direct slot to TI6.

At the end of the scheduled matches, Fnatic had overpowered Mineski pushing the Malaysian squad into the top position and eliminating the Filipino’s at the same time. TnC had defeated Orange. Taring as their last match also giving them the first place position score of 7:2.

The first tie-breaker was set between Fnatic and Execration where Fnatic overwhelmingly took the game with ease. In 38 minutes with a score of 25:5, they took the first win.

The second tie-breaker took place between Fnatic and TnC. After almost 1 hour of playing TnC were able to defeat Fnatic to tie up the record.

TnC had one more final game to win to secure the first TI6 spot for the SEA region. They went head to head against XctN, a team they had bested yesterday. After battling it out for almost 1 hour, TnC seized turned the game around into their favor at the last moments and seized the first TI6 spot.

WarriorsGaming. Unity slipped from the top of the group to the fourth place position today. Although they defeated Mineski, they took loses against Fnatic, The Mongolz and TnC. In the Manila Major the Malaysian team had topped the group stage at the end of day 1, but fell too short to qualify for the playoffs. This year, WG. U advanced and will compete for another chance.

With White Fries last match victory over The Mongolz – the SEA mixed team featuring Benedict Lim “hyhy” Han Yong allowed them to claim the last spot in the playoffs.

All five of the eliminated teams ended up taking only three wins a piece. Rave, Signature Trust, Mineski, Orange. Taring and The Mongolz all ended with a 3:6 record.

TI6 SEA Qualifiers format

The format for the TI6 Regional Qualifiers are different this year to accommodate having two regional spots advance to the TI6 main event and one regional team advance to the TI6 Wild Card series.
