For the third time in as many years, Dota 2 finds a home at the Commerzbank-Arena in Frankfurt, Germany. Iterating on the stage layout of the 2014 event, ESL One Frankfurt features the largest screen ever used to show a game of Dota 2 at over 550 square meters. A large festival area next to the arena will have the widest variety of side activities yet, ensuring that there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Tournament Format

ESL One Frankfurt will feature a double elimination group stage into a playoffs stage. The event will feature two teams from Europe, one team from the United States, one Southeast Asian team, and one Chinese team. In addition teams will be invited directly to the event based on past performance.
