ESL One Frankfurt 2015 is the first ESL arranged tournament for Dota 2 in 2015. It will be held in the Commerzbank Arena, a football stadium with a capacity of more than 52,000, in June of 2015. Three of the eight teams at the main event will be invited while the rest must qualify through region based tournaments.

Main Event
- Eight teams in a single-elimination bracket.
- Three invited teams
- One team from the Chinese Qualifier
- One team from the SEA Southeast Asian Qualifier
- Three teams from the European European Qualifier
- Based on their seedings, the top 3 teams will choose their opponent.
- Quarterfinals and Semifinals are played in a best of three.
- Final is played in a best of five.

Prize Pool [ edit ]
The base prize pool for this tournament is $250,000, which can be increased by crowdfunding:
- For every ticket purchased, an additional 25% of the purchase is added to the base prize pool.
- For every treasures (treasure #1, treasure #2) and Invokerset purchased, 10% is added to the prize pool.
As of June 21th, 2015, the total prize pool is $296,203. [3]
