Thank you all, um another question.. is worth to buy Midas to Enigma? i was on minute 4:50 (5) and i decided to buy it so i had good gold all game (i started warding in that minute, anyway there was no gank and middle lane got runes before)
I would have rushed a Blink Dagger.

Enigma’s benefit as a jungler is that, if left unchecked, he’s incredibly efficient and can easily farm up items while gaining levels rapidly. Getting a Midas is sort of like. getting a Midas on Alchemist(Assuming it’s a carry Alchemist who gets Greevil’s Greed); it’s incredibly greedy, and you’re sort of wasting the ability to farm rapidly and push an advantage with items to get that Midas.
Something like a fast Mek, Blink Dagger, etc, would allow your team to push their advantage as a whole and would get you more farm. As an Enigma, you don’t need to farm faster because, while items are great, his impact can be felt much sooner with items than with a Midas, and allows you to push towers, take fights, etc, all which will give you more Gold when used properly than a Midas.
also jug, and any hero with magic immunity
Blademail is only good if your hero has a lot of hp. Otherwise, the above suggestions
huskars passive mutigated mos of the damage.
to the OP, get heavens halberd, disable his auto’s, get some auto attacks in to destroy his ♥♥♥♥, hex works well for this due to passive disable

any midas before 8mins is fine. 9min for supports. remember it’s a high risk high reward item
No, any Midas is not fine. You have to ask yourself if that Gold would be better spent on other items, if the game can drag on long enough for you to get a benefit from that Midas(Or if the enemy can deal crippling damage while you have a useless item), is the benefit of additional levels and farm really a priority, etc. A Midas can be a low risk item in some cases when the enemy doesn’t have much for the early game, or your team can carry you for a while; it’s high risk when people just pick one up for no reason other than “I can get it early.” when they don’t comprehend that you need to draw the game out to get benefit.
On Enigma, an early Mek can easily garner more global Gold for your team than a Midas through winning fights or forcing towers, which snowballs into taking more fights and towers while restricting map control. Getting a Midas means you lose that advantage and are wasting your efficiency to be MORE efficient in an area you don’t need it. You have to look at the options when getting a Midas, and MANY more questions matter than the time you get it, especially depending on the level of pubs you play at.

For centuries, Black Arachnia the Broodmother lurked in the dark lava tubes beneath the smoldering caldera of Mount Pyrotheos, raising millions of spiderlings in safety before sending them to find prey in the wide world above. In a later age, the Vizier of Greed, Ptholopthales, erected his lodestone ziggurat on the slopes of the dead volcano, knowing that any looters who sought his magnetic wealth must survive the spider-haunted passages. After millennia of maternal peace, Black Arachnia found herself beset by a steady trickle of furfeet and cutpurses, bold knights and noble youths–all of them delicious, certainly, and yet tending to create a less than nurturing environment for her innocent offspring. Tiring of the intrusions, she paid a visit to Ptholopthales; and when he proved unwilling to discuss a compromise, she wrapped the Vizier in silk and set him aside to be the centerpiece of a special birthday feast. Unfortunately, the absence of the Magnetic Ziggurat’s master merely emboldened a new generation of intruders. When one of her newborns was trodden underfoot by a clumsy adventurer, she reached the end of her silken rope. Broodmother headed for the surface, declaring her intent to rid the world of each and every possible invader, down to the last Hero if necessary, until she could ensure her nursery might once more be a safe and wholesome environment for her precious spiderspawn.

As the dust settles over the latest major in Shanghai, we turn our attention towards Kiev and the StarLadder Invitational’s 5th Season. With TI8 creeping ever closer and none of the current Top 7 in DPC rankings present, this is a rare chance for the attendees to make up for lost ground. Although a Minor lacks the prestige and complete competition of a Major, the action will be no less fierce as all the teams still need to book their tickets to Vancouver. Tune into the action over the week as 8 teams chase these elusive points and duke it out amongst themselves!
Group A – A Brawl beneath the Moonlight
VGJ. T 2-0 FlyToMoon OpTic 2-1 Team Kinguin FlyToMoon 1-2 Team Kinguin VGJ. T 2-1 OpTic OpTic 2-1 Team Kinguin
Welcome to Group A and it’s decidedly hard to predict competitors. While the prior results would lead one to assume that VG. J Thunder has the clear edge as, after all, they are still placed 8th in the DPC, their inconsistency makes it difficult. If they can learn from their most recent Top 12 elimination during DAC and show up in good form, Sylar & Co. should advance smoothly. But if their play is jittery again, they might just be in for a rude awakening.
Speaking about inconsistency, we obviously cannot leave out OpTic Gaming in this discussion. With wildly fluctuating results all over the place and still not a single point for TI collected, it is way past time for OpTic to pick up steam or they might just miss the train to Vancouver. Ppd’s squad still has a long way to go before he can unironically say that NA dota is the best.
For Team Kinguin, the past couple of months have seen them cool off bit compared to their explosive start when they first burst onto the scene. While they certainly would have hoped to make their mark during Katowice, it will be much easier in Kiev during Starladder. Without a clear favorite in the group, they might just have the chance to sneak into the playoffs with stable and safe play. This group also offers them the chance to settle the score with FlyToMoon for the loss they suffered in the Bo1-hell of Epicenter’s last chance qualifier in the much preferable Bo3-setting.
And FlyToMoon. Who are they actually? Formed back in February with quite well-known CIS names such as Silent, ALWAYSWANNAFLY, Iceberg, and Nofear, they have rapidly made an impact in the volatile CIS region and qualified not only to this Minor but also for the upcoming Epicenter XL. As Starladder will be their first LAN appearance, it remains to be seen if they can translate their success so far on to interregional competition. It seems unlikely, but in this group full of uncertainties and chaos, nothing is impossible. VGJ and OpTic should make it out of this group, but upsets would not surprise me.
Heading Group B is the runner-up from DAC2018: LGD Gaming or. they would have, if they did not cancel last minute due to fatigue and exhaustion. With the Chinese out of the equation, it falls to Fnatic to lead the group. Missing out on DAC must have especially stung them quite a bit considering how well their SEA brethren had done in Shanghai by snatching 2 of the Top 4 spots and even clinching the long-awaited first SEA Major championship. Envy’s squad will be looking to equal Mineski’s DAC performance here in Kiev in order to close the gap DPC’s Top 8. Fnatic has also announced that 343 will be playing in place of Pieliedie during the event as a substitute, how this will effect the team remains to be seen.
For the other three members of Group B, Kiev will be a very different challenge. Announced as the last-minute replacement for LGD, Vega Squadron have very large shoes to fill and is expected to struggle. Although their current form is not too bad in the closed environment of the CIS region, success at LAN finals has so far eluded them. It remains to be seen if they are able to translate their qualifier successes on to the big stage, just recently clinching the CIS slot for MDL Changsha over Team Spirit.
The neverending story of Na`Vi has just recently been continued for yet another chapter of roster drama. Starladder dota 2 eg vs lgd breeds Although the cryptic announcements turned out to be more smoke than fire in the end, it can be safely assumed that team cohesion is not exactly a strength of the black and yellow right now. Ever since since RodjER left for the greener pastures at Virtus. Pro, the trajectory of Na`Vi has only known a downwards direction. Since it will be one of the few remaining chance to snag points for Vancouver, you can hope that they finally get a hold of themselves and shape up but that hope should be very skittish by now.
Rounding out the group will be will be SG esports. Part of the regular South American trio rotation of Pain Gaming, Infamous and SG to place in the bottom half at tournaments, there is little to assume Starladder will be any different. Unless the freak upset happening on the level of SG vs. Secret, there seem be no surprises in this group with Fnatic comfortably making the Playoffs. The real question of Group B will be who gets to slide into second place for those all-important DPC points. With Vega and Na`Vi being very familiar rivals from the same region, we are guaranteed some fierce matches to decide who gets to represent CIS in the Playoffs.
With Valve just recently releasing its Dota 2 Update 7.18, a number of changes made their way into the making. This includes everything from hero/item alternations to a complete change of the game’s Meta. Dota 2 daily hero This means everything we know about the game has changed in some way or the other. so, to better educate our readers of the current Carry heroes of the Meta, we are here with a list of the 10 best Dota 2 Carry Heroes of 2018.
Dota 2 Carry Heroes
The Meta for Dota 2 has changed and we are already seeing some new faces making their mark in the current Meta. Dota 2 daily hero However, with Icefrog’s effort to balance the game, he made various changes that completely nerfed some of the most picked heroes while bringing up some that we weren’t used to in a very long time. So, without taking any more of your time, here are the 10 best Carry Heroes in the year 2018.
1. Ursa
Ursa is one of the most popular choices for the role of Carry in the current Dota 2 Meta. Dota 2 daily hero This is due to the recent love the developers have shown to the agility based hero. This combined with his extremely powerful, yet tanky abilities make him a true beast in the game.
2. Spectre
Spectre has been a hero which was a consistent pick even before patch 7.19. Though, after the update tides favored Spectre even more. Her desolate has been buffed up giving Spectre more ease in farming, as well as her updated Dispersion, has given her enhanced tankability during team fights.
3. Terrorblade
Terrorblade finally got his place back in competitive Dota 2 with the recent patches. Immediately after, we saw teams picking up the split push carry to their advantage. Terrorblade’s farming, mobility build that professional players tend to make on this hero has allowed him to fit in many situations.
4. Anti-Mage
Well, one cannot just ignore Magina from the competitive scene no matter what. Anti Mage has been a life saver for many professional teams who consider this hero their last resort in times of need. No matter the changes to the Meta, you will still see Anti Mage being picked up by professional teams every no own then.
5. Phantom Lancer
The place of both Phantom Lancer and Anti-Mage is relatively the same. Phantom lancer slightly wins during the current Meta because of his farming abilities as well as his input from early game. Though professional players tend to favor the hero more for split pushing it certainly doesn’t mean Phantom lancer isn’t good in team fights.
6. Gyrocopter
Though there were slight nerfs to the hero, Gyrocopter still remains a solid pick in the competitive scene. The AOE damage burst and lock down abilities of Gyrocopter make him a favorable pick in many matches. Plus, his incredible ability to quickly finish off lanes, and heroes make him a true contender in the fight for the best Dota 2 Carry.
7. Ember Spirit
A hero that is favored in both mid and carry role, Ember Spirit’s snowball mechanics are so good that no team wants to let go it to others. Ember Spirit is a greatly contested hero in professional matches who will either be picked or get banned in the drafting stage. Almost every team is good with Ember Spirit on their side and therefore the hero is expected to be heavily contested in the future as well.
8. Alchemist
Ever since the update, Alchemist has been revived from the dead. The new build on Alchemist is working wonders in the professional scene and the hero is getting contested more than ever. VG’s Super is trying to get his hands on the hero whenever possible. Alchemist is definitely going to be one of those heroes you will be seeing at The International 2018.
9. Shadow Fiend
Shadow Fiend is among those heroes that have great potential to come back from gold deficit really really fast. Even if Shadow Fiend does not have a good lane stage with a little bit of support and creep stacks Shadow Fiend can be up and running in no time. Being able to take both mid and carry positions the hero has become a necessity in the current Meta. Dota 2 daily hero
10. Faceless Void
Faceless Void has been one of the most consistent picks in Dota 2. However, this agility based character receiving some serious nerfs in the past, the pro scene Meta kicked him out. Well, with patch 7.19, things are looking good for Faceless as more and more players are looking to add him into their drafts. it is because of this newfound love, we thing Faceless Void is going to wreck havoc in the upcoming The International 2018 tournament.
That is it for now, but stay tuned as we going to be bringing you more guides likes this in the coming days. DotA-Analyser – The first real Analysing Tool for DotA2
That is my first post here, i hope Iґve done everything correctly. Tell me if Iґm wrong .
Watching like over hundreds of live-matches provided by those commentators trying to analyze the game for you we had to say STOP! WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE? Why do we need those Last-Hits after 30 minutes into the game? What does that XP-/Gold-Difference-Chart really tell us about who is in front at the current stage of the game?
Well, WE think NOTHING REAL!
That was the day our project was born. Me and a friend of mine tried to figure out, which information we would need to give the people a feedback of how the game really is going. After a long time watching like another hundreds of games we had all the information we needed and tried to put those into a program that should calculate us all the facts we collected and output them as a percentage number. The first try to calculate the Win-Rate in DotA2 was born and we loved it!
BUT, that was, of course, not enough for us. . so we thought about something else to do, to help players and commentators to understand the game in a better way.
The first thing that came up to our minds was. CHARTS. we need MORE CHARTS!
We tried to imagine what further information people would like to know when they are watching a game. So we started to collect some data for like XP/Min, Gold/Min, Last-Hits, Difference in Level, Kills/Assists and of course our very own Win-Rate-Calculation, put them into some line-charts to track the progress on time. But we don’t wanted to just give you those lines to watch, we wanted you to analyze them. Thatґs why we included some Indicators as you may know them from technical analyses on financial data. Dota 2 play analysis of romeo The moving averages. One 3-Minute-Line and another 6-Minute-Line. They will tell you, if the game is turning at some point. Another Indicator we wanted to bring in, was the worst-/best-case-scenario for the Win-Rate. These two lines tell you how far the Win-Rate would change if you take a fight and kill or lose all.
We thought that that would be something, people could really improve in understanding the game and having more fun to compare different heroes based on their progress of last-hits, net worth or whatever. Just to get a deeper look in what is really going on.
Our tool has not only the analysis-function I explained before. It lists you all the games provided in the LiveLeagueMatches-Api and gives you general information about them. If you chose a game, you can also see some more data like Tower-State or specific Player-Stats and of course the analysis.
I hope you like the idea of the tool and give it a shot. It is available at http://sourceforge. net/projects/dotaanalyser/ Screenshots are included there too!
To proof that this is not a virus, I verified it on VirusTotal: https://www. virustotal. com/de/file/a. Dota 2 play analysis of romeo is/1410716661/
I have to say, that the tool is only available for Windows with. NET4.5 installed and a monitor with a resolution of 1920×1080 ( Iґm sorry for that, I will fix that as soon as possible)
What I really would love to know is:
– What do you think about the idea in general? – How is the Win-Rate-Calculation working for you? – Would you like to have that kind of tool in the DotA2-Client directly?
We have many more ideas we want to include if people are interested. Just tell us!
