In-game Guides [ edit ]

Guides (sometimes also called Hero Builds) are guides created by players, that can suggest items and highlight abilities to level. They can be created and shared by players either in-game or through the Hero Builds Editor.

“Hero Builds Editor” has been out of order, probably since 2014.

Changes [ edit ]

  • Detailed talents now show up on the Guide panel – In the Loadout / Strategy and the In-Game viewer.
  • Hero Guide Viewer now has sorting options for Your Guides and All Guides.
  • Author Name and Last Updated Time has been added to the Guide Viewer.
  • Hero Guide Viewer now also displays visual entries for Abilities and Talents.
  • Tooltip has been added to the favorite star on the Guide Viewer.
  • Fixed a couple of UI issues on the Guide Builder tool.

Ability [ edit ]

Creates 2 images of your hero that last 20 seconds.

Melee images deal 33% damage and take 350% damage, while Ranged images deal 28% and take 400% damage.

Cooldown increased by 15 seconds on ranged heroes.

  • Has 30 seconds cooldown for melee heroes and 45 seconds cooldown for ranged heroes.
  • The user is invulnerable, hidden and spell immune during the split time.
  • Disjoints projectiles upon cast.
  • Applies a basic dispel on the owner upon cast.
  • Resets all current attack and spell targeting orders from other units on the owner.
  • After the split time, the caster reappears with their illusions.
    • The reappear locations are based on the caster’s position upon cast, with one appearing at the cast location, and the others north, east, south or west from that point.
    • The distance in between each is 108 range if the hero has a collision size of 24, and 72 if the collision size is 8.
    • Though the formation is always the same, the caster and their illusions take a random position in the formation and have all the same facing angle.
  • Orders the user to stop after the split time, canceling all queued orders, and orders given during the split time.
  • Provides 1000 radius ground vision for a second upon cast.
  • Recasting this replaces the illusions from the previous cast which are currently under the owner’s control.

  • Interrupts Timbersaw’s channeling spells upon cast.
  • Whirling Death first applies the debuff, then the damage.
  • Reduces the total main attributes of hit enemy heroes, including bonus attributes.
    • The reduction does not update if the target gains or loses attributes after the debuff is placed.
  • Before applying the damage, it first reduces current health by 20 for each point of strength it reduced.
  • Upon losing the debuff, enemies first only regain 19 health per missing strength point, before gaining their attributes back.
  • Has no effect on affected units’ current mana percentage if intelligence gets reduced.
  • The chain travels at a speed of 1600/2000/2400/2800 and always travels either the full distance or until connecting with a tree.
  • Can connect to trees up to 850/1050/1250/1450 ( 2250/2450/2650/2850) range away (max travel distance + tree search radius).
  • The hooked tree is destroyed once the chain stops pulling.
  • Can pull Timbersaw over impassable terrain and through trees.
  • Timbersaw stops being pulled if he is disabled at any point during Timber Chain.
  • If Timbersaw is disabled before the chain starts pulling, the chain still pulls him for a very short distance
    • This is still enough to cause damage around him to nearby units or to affect effects based on distance (e. g. Ruptura ).
  • Timbersaw can cast spells and items during the pull, but cannot attack.
  • The chain’s tip briefly provides 100 radius ground vision around itself while traveling, and 400 radius ground vision once reaching max distance or connecting with a tree.
  • If Timbersaw dies during Timber Chain and then instantly respawns (e. g. after buying back), the pull still continues possibly moving him all across the map to the targeted tree.
  • Only procs when a unit lands an attack on Timbersaw, regardless of distance. This means it cannot proc on missed attacks.
  • Secondary attacks from Glaive Lunar , Disparo Dividido and Canhão Antiaéreo cannot trigger Reactive Armor.

Dota 2 international 2014 na'vi vs alliance

Alliance vs. Na’Vi – will we see another ‘El Classico of Dota 2’ at TI9?

El Classico

Both teams have a long history in Dota 2 and won the Aegis once. Na’Vi is the first squad to ever lift the coveted trophy and Alliance was the first European squad to win TI. Matchups between the world-class teams Evil Geniuses, Team Secret, Team Liquid or OG could be considered to be the new generation of El Classicos – true super teams that fight incredible battles whenever they meet.

However, one true classic will always be the one between Na’Vi and Alliance, because of one historic match in 2013.

Still the best TI Grand Finals of all time?

It has always been considered to be the best TI Grand Finals of all time. Both teams were battling for the trophy at The International 2013.

Bringing back all that memories and feelings from back then is impossible. So let’s keep it short: Alliance was the favourite of the tournament and they actually made it through the tournament without losing up until the Grand Finals where they faced Na’Vi a second time. They already beat the Ukrainian team in the Upper Bracket Finals in a dominating fashion 2-0. Nobody was expecting Na’Vi to actually stand a chance against the Swedes.

Game one was proof of that: Alliance won in 15 minutes – what a stomp. However, Na’Vi fought back and took the lead. They just had to win one more game for their second TI championship. Alliance, on the other hand, remained calm and found new ways to tie and then even take the series.

Maybe PSG. LGD vs. OG was a better game last year, but for most oldschool fans it will always be the Grand Finals of 2013 that is the pinnacle of TI Dota. Dota 2 international 2014 na’vi vs alliance

Na’Vi is slightly ahead

However, the Grand Finals were not the only battle these legends fought – otherwise it wouldn’t be an El Classico of Dota 2, right? In fact, both teams played exactly 100 games against each other in more than six years. Who would have thought, but it’s almost even: Na’Vi won 52 of these matches, Alliance 48.

In 2014 and 2015 they played particularly often against each other. Only one thing changed over time: both teams got weaker and were not considered top-notch teams any more. Everytime, one of them had a mediocre success people would immediately joke: Is Alliance back? Is Na’Vi back? They were lacking the confidence and skill of earlier years. Players changed, rosters changed and by now, none of these legendary players of old is actively playing for their organisation – not even Danil ‘Dendi’ Ishutin.

Only three players of the two 2013 rosters are still on a top level: Kuro S. ‘KuroKy’ Takhasomi and Clement ‘Puppey’ Ivanov. The only players in the Dota 2 scene that attended every TI and Gustav ‘s4’ Magnusson who could win his second Aegis with EG.

A new era to start

But things changed: for the first time since The International 2016 both teams are back at TI. Alliance started a new era with five young and talented players. Jonathan ‘Loda’ Berg, the old legend, is leading them as a coach.

It took the Swedish organisation a while to find their way into the DPC, but this season was a success. In the end, Alliance finished in the top 12 of the Dota 2 Pro Circuit and earned a direct invite to TI9.

Na’Vi also restructured their squad at the beginning of the season. They benched good old Dendi and have built a new roster surrounding Akbar ‘SoNNeikO’ Butaev. They had a lot of shaky performances throughout the season, but in the most important moment Na’Vi struck against their opponents in the CIS qualifier and won.

We don’t know if they’ll end up in one group or if they are going to face in the playoffs. But just the thought of seeing two renewed sides brings back the old flair: Na’Vi vs. Alliance – the El Classico of Dota 2.

The International 2018 Predictions: Tournament

Tournament predictions are always interesting to analyze. We will be using the previous TI, the last three Majors and The Summit 9 as our reference, however keep in mind that the best we can do is give you an educated guess, so feel free to change things up if you disagree.

Total Number of Games played at the Main event

China Supermajor had 56 games in its main event, but it also had bo3 instead of bo1 in the lower bracket first round.

Considering that bo3 adds on average 1.5 games, compared to bo1, we can subtract 6 games from the China Supermajor for our best guess, leaving us with 50 games. Hence, for this category, we are putting down 50 to 54 games as our prediction.

Total Number of Heroes picked

There were 102 unique picks at the China Supermajor, 86 at the Summit 9 and 112 across qualifiers, meaning that the meta is actually quite diverse, despite most teams defaulting to lane-domination playstyle.

Given how short The Summit was and the fact that it still had 86 unique picks, we can safely assume that there are going to be at least 91+ unique picks at the International. The question to answer then is whether the TI meta is going to be at least as diverse as it was in June.

Given how there are now teams like Fnatic, experimenting with different playstyles and teams that didn’t play too much internationally, like iG, we expect the group stage to be even more diverse than previously and it alone will probably give us 101+ unique heroes.

Total number of heroes banned

Looking at stats for TI8 qualifiers, TI7, TI6 and China Supermajor, on average professional players ban roughly 86% of the total hero pool of the tournament. It means that if we expect 101+ unique hero picks, we expect at least 86+ unique bans.

Depending on how diverse you expect meta to be, both 81-90 and 91-100 are solid choices, however in recent tournaments, namely ESL One Birmingham, MDL Changsha, China Supermajor and The Summit 9, the percentage of banned heroes was slightly lower, closer to 80% and that is despite having an extra ban in the first phase, compared to previous TIs.

As such, we are going with the 81-90 bracket for this prediction. It fits in both historical and recent ban percentage for a hero pool of less than 105 contested heroes and if looking at recent data only, covers bans for hero pools of up to 111 heroes.

Most Combined Total kills in a game

There is always that one game that goes on for a very long time and has a ton of kills, but historically, occasions where the combined kill score would exceed 110 are extremely rare, and are virtually non-existent in high-profile tournaments, such as the International.

There were no games with 110+ kills in TI7, China Supermajor, The Summit 9 or ESL One Birmingham, so we think there won’t be such a game in TI8 either. Even in the recent Fnatic vs. Pain Gaming match the kill score only reached 105 kills, hence going for 101-110 combined kills is probably the safest bet.

Longest game of the tournament

Last year there was a 2 hour game at the International, so it isn’t unheard of for a game to go over a 100 minute mark. But the game is different now.

Even when looking for an outlier, we have to take into account that games are shorter in the current meta. Merlini dota 2 bet prediction There were no 90+ minute games in China Supermajor, no 80+ minute games during the Summit 9, no 70+ minute games in MDL Changsha and even no 60+ minute games in ESL One Birmingham.

TI8 will have almost double the amount of games compared to the Supermajor, so it is for you to decide whether you believe the amount of tries will allow for an extreme outlier. We don’t, so we will go for the 90:00 to 99:59 prediction bracket.

Shortest game of the tournament

Across the three last Majors, previous TI and the Summit 9, there is always at least one game that doesn’t reach the 20 minute mark, but there are no games that end before 15.

15:00-19:59 prediction is the most rational choice, according to stats and we will go with it.

Most kills by a hero in a game

Professional matches rarely have too many kills—pro-players are better at ending the games and won’t risk giving the enemy a chance of comeback to increase their stats.

We still managed to find several recent high profile games that had a hero with 26+ kills: Vici Gaming vs. Mineski had 30 kills on Fnatic. Moon ’s Storm Spirit, Vici Gaming vs. Evil Geniuses had 26 kills on VG. Paparazi ‘s Gyrocopter and TNC Predator vs. VGJ. Storm had 28 kills on TNC. Armel ‘s Mirana. Merlini dota 2 bet prediction This is more than enough to convince us that in a tournament with roughly twice the amount of games, there is going to be a at least one game with 26+ kills on a single hero.

Most deaths by a hero in a game

Not a single instance of 21+ deaths with several exact 20-death games lead us to believe that the 18-20 bracket is the most optimal choice.

Moreover, of all TI paticipants, pieliedie has the highest death average and his record is 19 deaths in a game vs. Pain Gaming.

Most assists by a hero in a game

There were several 36+ assist games in our sample, so we are confident that 36+ is going to be the correct answer.

Highest GPM by a hero in a game

Once again, it is a question of whether you believe Alchemist or Anti-Mage will have at least one very good game. Alchemist is one of the least popular heroes in the current meta, but we believe new OG with Ana will make him work at least once, so we bet on GPM exceeding 1000 in at least one game.

Closing Thoughts

Predictions are never guaranteed to be correct. Even with all our data, the best we can realistically do is give you several options and be 30% sure one of them is going to be correct. It is not exact science, but it still gives you much better odds, compared to predicting randomly.

The same rules apply to real life betting as well. Buff88.com can give you a chance to test your Dota knowledge and if you can keep your cool and bet smart, you will surely prevail.

Counter Helix, Eye of the Storm, Anchor Smash, Slithereen Crush, Unstable Concoction, Shadow Wave, ежесекундный урон от Entangle у медведя Lone Druid, Return, Echo Stomp, Land Mine и Suicide Squad, Attack!

Meld

Quill Spray

Hex)

Следующие способности можно отключить: Aftershock, Counter Helix, Great Cleave, Craggy Exterior, Bash у Slardar, Inner Beast, Dragon Blood, Mortal Strike, Degen Aura, Greevil’s Greed, Drunken Brawler, Feral Impulse, Critical Strike у Lycan в форме волка, Chaos Strike, Return, Reactive Armor, Curse of Avernus, Natural Order, Empowering Haste, Spell Shield, Thirst, Marksmanship, Precision Aura, Presence of the Dark Lord, Blade Dance, Coup de Grace, Vengeance Aura, Backstab, Headshot, Take Aim, Psi Blades, Geminate Attack, Lunar Blessing, Moon Glaives, Desolate, Jinada, Geostrike, Essence Shift, Fervor, Arcane Aura, Static Field, Heartstopper Aura, Sadist, Overload, Fiery Soul, Untouchable, Null Field, Gravekeeper’s Cloak, Entangle и Demolish у медведя Lone Druid.

    ГЕРОИ

      Enrage:
      =======

  • Arctic Burn:
  • Arctic Burn:
  • Arctic Burn:
  • Arctic Burn:
  • Splinter Blast:
  • Splinter Blast:
  • Cold Embrace:

    [[zuus]]

    • Thundergod’s Wrath:
    • Thundergod’s Wrath:

    Resolut1on

Roman “Resolut1on” Fominok is a Ukrainian professional Dota 2 player currently playing for Virtus. Pro.

    Contents

    Dota 2 [ edit ]

After some impressing results with iCCup (later Terrible Terrible Damage as they lost their sponsor) Resolut1on began to attract the interest of bigger teams. Ultimately Virtus. pro picked him up as they rebuilt their roster in the post-TI3 reshuffle. [1] Two days after leaving TTD he played with them as a stand-in at 2013 Techlabs Cup August, which they won, claiming $5,000.

When joining VP he would switch from playing the m >[2]

Resolu1ion’s time in Virtus Pro would prove short, as he would part ways with the team after an early elimination at StarLadder StarSeries Season 7. [3] After this, Resolu1ion would go on to join Team Empire, [4] which he would spend the next two years of his career with. The team showed a high amount of potential, getting second at StarLadder StarSeries Season 9 and winning the Excellent Moscow Cup and Dota Champions League Season 3. Team Empire would later go on to be one of the invited to The International 2014, where the team suffered a disappointing finish at the group stages.

Nonetheless, the team returned to form by winning the Excellent Moscow Cup 2 and StarLadder StarSeries Season 11. Over the course of the following spring, they achieved first place finishes at joinDOTA MLG Pro League Season 1 and Dota 2 Champions League Season 5 as well as a second place finish at MarsTV Dota 2 League 2015 Spring, defeating many favorites of the succeeding International. In their peak once more, Team Empire was once again invited to The International 2015, to once again suffer a disappointing finish at bottom half of the tournament. The team’s loss continued to linger as Empire failed to qualify for premier events, including The Frankfurt Major and The Shanghai Major.

After the team’s failure to qualify in Shanghai, Resolu1ion left the CIS region and Team Empire for North America, joining Digital Chaos. [5] The change immediately proved costly as Digital Chaos had failed to make any notable wins, and the team faltered in qualifiers. After the team failed to qualify for EPICENTER 2016 the entire roster of the team except for Resolu1ion was replaced. With rosters shuffling rap >[6] Resolu1ion would then shift from mid to carry to fit the team.

The team proved deadly during the qualifiers of North America, and Resolu1ion began qualifying once again for Premier events, however they struggled at LAN events and finished second-to-last at The Manila Major and The Summit 5. During The International 2016, however, Digital Chaos shocked the scene by crushing the loser’s bracket after being sent there by eventual winners, Wings Gaming, and the team finished 2nd. As the year progressed, the team held better results with upper half finishes at The Boston Major and winning ESL One Genting 2017. The peak would not last long, however, and the team began faltering at StarLadder i-League StarSeries Season 3, finishing bottom half.

Eventually, Digital Chaos’s co-founder, Sunsfan left the organization, [7] with Resolu1ion and the squad following suit shortly afterwards. [8] The squad would later go on to form Thunderbirds, and the team competed at The Kiev Major, only to be eliminated immediately in the main event by Evil Geniuses. After Kiev, the team qualified for EPICENTER 2017 and were subsequently signed by Planet Odd, [9] although they failed to make it out of the group stage at the main event. They failed to qualify for The International 2017, and after reaching second place at DreamLeague Season 7 the team disbanded.

Although originally attending The International 2017 as a member of the Russian panel, Resolut1on stood in for his former team, Team Empire, after Chappie had failed to acquire a visa in time. The team outperformed expectations and finished top 8, falling at the hands of eventual winners Team Liquid. Resolut1ion’s time as a free agent would be short, as he was immediately recruited by OG to replace ana, returning to the mid role he played for the first half of his career.

Resolut1on was released from OG on March 17, 2018. [10] Shortly after that Effect announced Resolut1on will join them as a stand-in for DAC 2018. [11]

Tabletop Review: Abyssal Dwarf Greater Obs > Alex Lucard | September 16, 2015 | Archive, Tabletop Gaming, Top Story | No Comments

    Abyssal Dwarf Greater Obsidian Golem
    Cost: $39.99
    Release Date: September 2015
    Get it here: Mantic Games

This weekend, my first Kings of War army arrived. Here is a link to the unboxing/ Seventy-six Abyssal dwarves in a bunch of plastic bags. So I’ve started putting them together. As there is only one new release in the set, I’ve decided to do a review of it. The Greater Obsidian Golem is the largest figure in the Abyssal Dwarf army and the largest produced by Mantic so far (the dragons will be bigger, I’m sure). With a price tag of only $40, that’s a pretty good deal, considering Games Workshop sized figured would run you about twice that price tag. Let’s take a look at the assembly process.

Here are all the parts. Note you get a choice of three heads and two sets of arms. This also lets you assemble the Greater Obsidian Golem as an Earth Elemental for the new Forces of Nature army. Don’t worry, you won’t have a multi-headed, multi-limbed monstrosity…but you can mod the golem into that if you’re up for it!

As you can see, the Greater Obsidian Golem is only five parts, which is a shockingly small amount of pieces for a mini this size. I love it as it made putting this guy together super easy, as well as extremely fast. I was done in under fifteen minutes, most of which was letting the glue dry.

A look at both sets of arms. I used the ones with the shoulder armor.

A look at all three head options. I went with the far right one.

Here are the two body pieces glued together. These resin (not restic as the rest of the figures I received) fit together more or less perfectly. There is one tiny gap at the top which I’ll have to green stuff but other than that it was the smoothest large figure I’ve ever but together. I’m already halfway done here!

Here’s that gap I was talking about. It’s not very big and once I prime and paint it, it might not be visible, but I’m going to green stuff it anyway to be safe.

Here we are with the arms glued it. You can do many different poses with the arms, but I chose to assemble mine with its fists in the air. I want the final product to look like he’s raising his arms to the heavens, roaring in rage. Well the golem isn’t male so it is probably a better descriptor than “he.”

A look at the back of the golem. Now we just need to form the head.

Here is the golem on its base. I really don’t care for the look or material of the base. It really didn’t want to take the gorilla glue and it just looks ugly. That’s what paint, flock and other such items are for though, right?

Behold – the finished golem, complete with its new head. It looks pretty creepy right? Again, this was such a joy to assemble although I’m still not sure how I’m going to paint it. Probably black with flecks of gold and silver to represent mineral deposits. He joins a lo0ng list of other figures that need priming and painting.

The back of the finished Greater Obsidian Golem.

Finally, here is the Greater Obsidian Golem with his smaller cousin, the LESSER Obsidian Golem. Pretty big size difference, huh> You can also tell the Lesser is made of restic and the larger is Resin.

Overall, I definitely have to give the Greater Obsidian Golem a very positive review. I loved putting it together. There was no stress, no mess and it was one of the easiest models I’ve ever glued. This is definitely going to be a centerpiece for an Abyssal Dwarven army. If you already have an Abyssal Dwarf army, you need to get one of these. It’s a great addition to your army, looks awesome, and will be a lot of fun to field. Now I just have 72 more dwarves to go. Sheesh.

General Discussionclimbing solo mmr in 2k SEA

its so hard especially with the new region lock im always with pinoys now who refuses to cooperate and insists they will solo carry the game so I just pick support and hope they will actually carry the game but most of the time, they don’t. I can’t pick carry because everyone is already carry and everyone will fight for farm. You will be lucky to be with a 3 man party who always brings 1 supp player. Hell, my party MMR became higher than my solo MMR even when I party with a 1.8k guy because we have communication and teamwork. pls help

Spam luna like high winrate heroes in ur mmr bracket

I raised mmr by axe drow od. 3 mouths ago. Jungling is still nice in ur bracket

Just pick the harder carry then?

Lul can’t pick carry. Can’t win as support. Sad life bro

Sup brah just spam hero dont be so versatile. Love your ember

I’m still triggered by people who say “i play in x server btw haHAA” in their threads

Go jungle don’t care about them all, farm out 1v5 u think I need team when I solo rank below 4K.

The only creed 2k players must cherish.

    What do you mean by a l r e a d y
You’re stuck at 2900 for a month at least
Well relatively I’m stuck too FeelsBadMan
This 4k race is going nowhere

    Kyle stop advertising that acc

    what region lock?

    did i miss something?

^ ^ ^ not region lock but if you are in a certain country you would get stacked up with them more than random nationality like thai, indo, malaysian and any other more

Um, pick LC and jungle blyat.

Probably the best thing to do is pick out of the hero pool with +50 Winrate, if you have to first pick take roaming heroes that scale well into late game. Otherwise counterpick the opponents which in the best case, is a carry, farm distribution i. e. position 1-5 barely matters in pubs, most prominently in “low mmr” matches because people can’t finish games early even though they may have an advantage.

Other aspects that have a high impact on your success; keep a positive mental attitude, always take the lead of your team because nobody else does most of the time and PLAY AN AWFUL LOT OF GAMES. Sooner or later you will eventually gain MMR with all those things combined.

Bare in mind, I am a 3k pleb and in no position to assure you this will work, but those are the things people with much higher MMR keep saying on reddit, joindota and other sites.

I try to do this myself every time but eventually I give up because a lot of my solo Q games are simply not fun at all, not necessarily because I lose but because it seems like the MatchMaking algorithm is selecting my teammates randomly. I don’t expect my Invoker to hit every sunstrike, and I don’t expect my Enigma to get 5 man black holes every teamfight, but when my Viper loses Mid to a solo Zeus and he has no Magic Stick or that one guy last picks juggernaut, goes solo offlane, dies 6 times then proceeds to buy Phase Boots and farm Battle Fury, I just have to wonder “Is this a joke ?”.

So, instead of try-harding in ranked I recommend playing unranked and try out funny builds or just play a couple games of Yolothrow in the arcade with some friends, in this case, I CAN assure you, you are going to have fun ! 🙂
