^undy is optional, without mana dies like fly.
pudge could be quite tanky so he should be on the list.

^Pudge could. If he snowball, yes. Any hero can snowball and buy items that makes you durable, although Pudge obviously has his flesh heap. That doesn’t give him neutral tankiness.

Im surprised no one said Doom, or Skeleking. Btw can someone explain to me thee importance of bristleback i really dont get him all ik is that he is a pretty good tank if his bank is facing u and then he just sneezes on people and farts out spikes. i just dont get how he is useful(he is still fun and cool though)

BB is a durable hero, and you can’t let him do what he wants.

If you focus him, it takes a while to kill him and your team loses positioning, so his team rapes your team.
If you don’t focus him, he stacks sprays and slows/armor reductions on you, slowly raping you and your team.

Oh. so he is doing something helpful lol

Anyway as of this moment im voting Doom because he has the highest strength in the game thus more health thus more durableness(thats not a word) and tankyness

doom has no armor

Timbersaw is rather durable as well.

When it comes to relative durability I guess Visage and Ogre are very tanky for support heroes. Bane as well, because of insane stats and skills.

I would also vote for Visage, he easily gets insane armour and if granted a few kills becomes a pain in the ass to kill.

at level 6, sylla bear deserves a mention, with an entangle bear coming around to save his ass too.

No one mentioned these:
morph (op tank late game)
orge and treant . (tankist lv1 early game)
dp (quite good mid game tank after the bloodstone)

agree with most of you guys listed.
and late game spectre and medusa. Dota 2 super tank mini tank as hell

Ya just played spectre in diretide she is tanky

Early game: Treant, Timbersaw, Axe
Mid game: Abbadon, Centaur, Bristleback
Lategame: Spectre, Alchemist, Doom

morph technically with dusa and spectre (with items) are the biggest tanks naturally though I think bristle eats the most dmg with his hp

Your forgeting slardar
Slardar at lvl.25 has 16 armor add something like ac he has max armour so at that point ur going to need to take about almost twice your health to kill
So his health at lvl.25 is 2200 so pretty much your going to have to take somewhere around 4400 damage for your to die cus i also think(i dont know if this is right but. ) 25 armour(max armour) grants 70% physical damage reduction

Well lets see here heart should bring slar up to 2500 which with ac and armour means that u will need to take about 5000 damage or so to die plus give him satanic lifesteal which brings him up to. I think. 34 passive lifesteal with it activated 175% lifesteale would bring him up to around 310 lifesteal. so yeah slar would be insustructable he could surive a 5v1 escially since he has sprint plus he is stun king. and if u wanted to add 3 more hearts to slar(if u could actually do that lol bring him up to a whooping 3500 health so in total u would have to get 7000 damage delt to u. thoughts?

Slardar is not a tank. He has raw stats that arent superb either way, no skills that support him being a tank.

The question is a bit difficult to answer since there are different types of damage. It can be situational. For example, against 5 physical damage dealers, PA is basically unkillable if she goes basic HP/armor early (drums, vlads, vanguard). Then there are heroes like Huskar and Viper that are pretty good at absorbing magic damage, just get more HP.

Doom is not that tanky, because he has terrible base armor. He can become very tanky if you equip him with Shivas, AC, and heart. But then again, if you equip any hero with that stuff, he will most likely be tanky (the trick is getting it soon enough to where you basically are invincible).

My vote for most durable hero goes to free-farmed Bristleback since his skills do not discriminate against what type of damage is given. He does need items/levels though or else he’ll die instantly (just like any other hero). I recently had a game where I tanked CK and all his ultimate illusions with vanguard, heaven’s, and shivas. It’s ridiculous. That’s thousands and thousands of damage.

  • Follow Ten Ton Hammer

The Wraith King or Skeleton King as many still call him is one of the most popular heroes in Dota 2, because he is very easy to pick up for beginners and also because he’s pretty effective in skilled hands. Despite being one of the easiest heroes to play, mastering the wraith king can still take some time which is why we’ve prepared some tips for those looking to get the most out of this royal apparition.

Dive in Head First

Your ultimate is essentially a second life so don’t be afra >

Another thing to be aware of when you lead the charge into a fight is the position of the enemy carry and support. These are the two you should be heading for first, and since you can die and come back, don’t be afraid to bum rush them. Landing your stun on the enemy carry can cripple their team for most of the fight and allow your team to deal the dps at will.

You Need Mana

If there’s one aspect of the Wraith King that all players agree is a weak spot it’s that his abilities are somewhat mana heavy which makes him useless if he doesn’t have any. This is especially true when you consider that the Wraith Kings ultimate “Reincarnation” requires that he have 150 mana at the time of death for it to work.

Getting caught and killed without any mana and then wondering why their ult didn’t go off is something almost all wraith players experience at least once, but it can be avoided with one simple item, the Soul Ring.

The Soul ring is a perfect match for the king because it instantly grants 150 mana at the expense of 150 health, which should guarantee that your ult goes off. Try to wait until you are close to death to use it however in case the enemy team has mana burning abilities that would just drain it anyways.

Gank – O – Matic

The Wraith king is a great ganker because of his powerful stun that not only deals direct damage and additional damage over time, but also slows the enemy when they come out of the stun. Try to approach the lane from the river or forest to maximize your chances of surprise. Once you open with a stun, close the gap and beat them down into oblivion.

Refresher Orb for +1 Lives

It’s not ideal in every situation but grabbing the refresher orb will allow you to use your ultimate and rise from the dead twice in a fight (if you have the mana of course). It is however a very expensive item, so only pick it up if you are putting out the damage/ are tanky as you feel you need to be.

Speed it Up

Apart from his stun, which also functions as a great nuke, the Wraith King is primarily a melee hero that can be kited if the enemy see’s him coming or they aren’t killed before his stun wears off. Counter this by picking up an item to increase his mobility like the Blink Dagger or Force Staff. Either of these items will allow the King to close the gap quickly to land his stun and then melee the target to death.

______________________________________________________________________________________________
In the deepest, blackest pits of the ocean a fearsome and terrifying creature lurks. Bending the shadows to his will, few have seen his true form and none have lived to speak of it. For the shadows are his sanctuary, a place of empowerment and revitalisation. Bathed in this inpenetrable darkness he strikes unseen, every attack making him swifter and more powerful whilst weakening his enemy. An unbreakable leash awaits all who try to escape, leaving them at mercy of this horrifying phantom. By sacrificing a fraction of his soul, his pact with darkness allows him break even the most powerful bonds and curses. With echoes of the Great War reaching every corner of the earth, this creature, known only as Slark, has emerged from the depths to search for an ancient relic.
______________________________________________________________________________________________

Slark is adept in the art of assasination. He is the definition of glass cannon, utilizing unconventional tools to produce a reliable stream of ganks. Should you be stray of your lane, be wary of a pouncing from the Nightcrawler, for it spells death for you; his prey.

ROLE and POSITION

Slark is revered as the ultimate in hit and run tactics. His kit accentuates him to be an exceptionally filthy GANKER , an adequate late game SEMI-CARRY , and in some cases a CARRY . The Nightcrawler is an oddball in the terms of ganking, and very inflexible in build and playstyle, with that being said he is a very niche hero, and fills the role to the potential.

Assuming you bought your starting equipment as suggested and are wondering what to do now, you might want to cons >SOLO or DUO lane. Slark is most compatible in the SAFE lane to have that early access to the s >MID according to picks. Generally a TRI lane is a risky investment as he’d be your main carry if you followed this route.

BOTTLE and RUNES

Bottle: A bottle should be PICKED UP you plan on taking it solo to the MID lane; in which you should try to have full control of runes as you should with any solo mid hero with a bottle. Try to have a caster with a summon to scout runes out for you.

Illusion : You do not benefit much from this rune, this should only be PICKED UP in special cases.

Double Damage : This should be picked up EARLY and MID game, and avo >LATE game.

Invisibility : Generally not needed, but for a sure gank you may PICK UP .

Regeneration : SITUATIONAL , for the most part you will pick this up if no one needs it anymore than you do.

Haste : Use your better judgment, this will be PICKED UP to catch up to the pack or escape.

Syntax [ edit ]

The full syntax for displaying an image is:

Where options can be zero or more of the following, separated by pipes:

  • border, frame, thumb, or frameless: Controls how the image is formatted
  • left, right, center, none: Controls the alignment of the image within a text
  • baseline, sub, super, top, text-top, m >[[File:Name. jpg|20px|link=Help:Images]] → 20px.
  • Note that link cannot be used in conjunction with thumb as thumb is always meant to link to the larger version of the image. In addition, link cannot be used with frame.
  • alt= : For changing the alternative text (alt=””) of an image (1.14+)
  • Special cases:
    • page=1: Displays the specified page when showing a djvu file
  • The options can be given in any order. If the given options conflict each other, the latter is applied, except for the format options, where the options take the priority in the order of frame, thumb, and frameless and/or border. If a given option does not match any of the other possibilities, it is assumed to be the caption text. Caption text can contain wiki links or other formatting.

Best ranged hero killer dota 2

After spamming a lot of easier melee heroes, I want to try to play some ranged heroes too, but I don’t know where to start. These are the heroes I have got in mind however:
    1. Sniper
    2. Gyrocopter
    3. Drow Ranger
    4.Wind Ranger

Which one of these do you think will be easier to start with? Also which among these will be better in a late game hard carry role?

drow ranger is not for beginners.

sniper is not a carry hero as the items you need to get for him are plenty.

    1) boots (power treads”strength or agility”)

    2) manta style or silver edge or drum of endurance

    3) vlad’s offering

    4) desolator or eye of skadi (better than chain lightning item and stacks with vlad’s offering)
mask of madness, satanic don’t stack with desolator

    6) moon shard (this is optional)

i have seen drow rangers in my game from time to time and even though they are good, but it is not meant for beginners.

you need to be very skilled when using drow ranger.

have you ever used drow ranger before. if never, then practice drow ranger by playing with bots first.

drow ranger is not for beginners.

sniper is not a carry hero as the items you need to get for him are plenty.

    I stop reading there lol.

Tthere is not many “carrys” range, drow is quite in the meta, but u need to learn basic first. Most of the range INT are not for beginers so if u want to fry some try with the agi ones coz STR are only 2 one support/offlaner and husk who u to learn a few thinks before play him.

PS : Viperi s the ez one but isnot a carry. U mby can snowball but that alls.

drow ranger is not for beginners.

Well last time I checked, sniper was a carry.

    4) drum of endurance (this is temporary as i replace it in late game)

    5) manta style (2 images with the main one shooting together is worth it)

    6) silver edge (this is for attack speed and can use it to run away)

    7) butterfly (this is only if the game goes to very late game)

    8) satanic (if you get this, don’t get desolator or mjollnir as it doesn’t stack)

    9) eye of skadi (i’m very sure no one will go for this item but i’m just putting it here)

    10) mkb (if you want to stun, this item is the best item over cranium basher since cranium basher is better suited for melee heroes over range heroes)

Meet The M’sian Champions Who Just Won An All-Girl E-Sports Dota 2 League

    Iylia Aziz

E-Sports has always been regarded as a male-dominated industry where most professional players that end up representing their countries for tournaments consist of men. But that doesn’t mean there aren’t female players.

Despite the niche audience, there are tournaments and leagues focusing on bringing up female players and providing a stage for these talented e-sport athletes to shine.

One of the more notable tournaments for females in this region called the Female SEA League (FSL) held their fourth edition and the grand finals happened last Sunday. A Malaysian Dota 2 team called Grills Gaming was one of the finalists and after an intense competition against team DIA from Thailand, they managed to come out victorious with a score of 2–1.

Each member from Grills Gaming walked away with a router from Linksys worth SGD$539 and a full set of gaming gears from Creative BlasterX.

    What Is FSL?

The Female SEA League started off in 2013 and it calls upon female Dota 2 players from around the Southeast Asian region to form a team and compete with other talented players.

This 4th edition spanned over a total of 4 months, starting from September 2016. A total of 23 teams that played weekly matches in the double round-robin format groupstage, leading up to a single-elimination playoffs between the top 4 teams last week.

This tournament has seen entries coming from a few notable teams, including NXA from Indonesia, Vegetable Fish Fizz (VFF) from Thailand, Asterisk* from Singapore and Mint AU from Australia. Singapore dota 2 female team rocket

    Meet The Players

Team Grills Gaming (GG) has a lineup of 5 members with all the members coming from Malaysia. Singapore dota 2 female team rocket

The captain is Stephanie “auroraa” Lim, with the remaining 4 members being Bette “istarx” Chia, Tiffani “Oling” Lim, Wei Sian “TimunSama” Wong and Nicole “Catosaurus” Lim.

Before the members came together to form Team GG, each one had their own background in playing Dota 2 professionally. The players have experience participating in mixed teams for local tournaments such as the Selangor Cyber Games and the Dota 2 Dew Challenge.

Members Stephanie and Wei Sian were part of team Half Bloods that went up against ADTR and MalayAllStar on the main stage during the Malaysia Cyber Games 2015, which was actually when the team first collaborated. Bette and Nicole only were added into the team later after they underwent a few roster changes.

In 2016, the girls decided to team up as Grills Gaming and sign up to compete in the 4th edition of FSL. They became the only Malaysian representative in the league.

A quick breakdown of their roles:

    • Stephanie “auroraa” Lim: Captain and drafter of Grills Gaming where she masterminds the strategy. Her position in-game is on the offense as the mid role with either an Invoker or Shadow Fiend.
    • Tiffani “Oling” Lim: Takes on the hard support role, collecting the proper resources for her team. Her signature moves include performing clutch saves where she uses her fast thinking to save her team during intense battles with her Dazzle or Vengeful Spirit.
    • Wei Sian “TimunSama” Wong: Provides roaming support where she uses her Lion and Earthshaker to attack enemies from all lanes rapidly (also known as ganking) and help pool in resources.
    • Bette “istarx” Chia: Plays the vital Carry position where she’s able to flash farm resources for the team early on in the game and then helps on the offense with a full-slotted hero such as Luna or Phantom Assassin.
    • Nicole “Catosaurus” Lim: Takes up the offlane role where she plays the role of support and a carry. Her well-executed ultimate moves from her Faceless Void or Tidehunter plays a key role in getting a comeback or emerging victorious.

The Struggles Of Being A Female Team

Mentioned in an interview with Stadium Astro, member Tiffani commented on the topic of why there aren’t as many female teams out there and the issues and factors that it probably stems from.

“Over the years I’ve played in many female teams, and more often than not it’s plagued with issues. First you have the attitude problems, as girls have the tendency to overreact to criticism, hindering team improvement in games.”

“That aside, it’s tough to find girls who share the same goals and visions—it’s just too easy to let the attention get to your head before you actually achieve anything. Then you need to consider commitments such as studies and work, also the geographical factor—if you can play or train together on LAN,” said Tiffani.

These were also reasons she linked on why it took longer than expected for the founding members of Grills Gaming to find fellow girls who shared their mindset and skill level. Their stubborn goal of forming a full-female lineup was also partly why they were searching for candidates for a while.

“This is why the champion title means so much to each of us. The moment of victory, when the opponent’s throne was destroyed, the five of us screamed in unison and slammed our fists on the table. And we turned around to see our coaches who came down to surprise us, beaming proudly at us outside the booth. And that was it… by far the most unforgettable moment in my life,” said Tiffani.

As a female gamer myself, it always feels encouraging to see fellow girls proving that gender should not come to play when it comes to skills such as those used in E-Sports.

Congratulations to the girls on their win and I hope to see them claim more titles to grow their name in the industry.

Dota 2 Battle Pass 2018: The Underworld Awaits You

UPDATE : It is finally here. The Dota 2 Battle Pass for The International 2018 is now available for all fans, bringing forth not only new immortal items and cosmetic items but some other exciting new features as well. If you have been desperately waiting for new items to be added to Dota 2, your time has come. Get your hands on the all-new Battle Pass, and experience Dota 2 like never before.

According to the official post, Valve is taking Dota 2 to an all-new level, this year. We have seen the Battle Pass themed after the underwater life during the Battle Pass 2017, but this time, the developers are taking one step further as this time, Dota 2 is heading to a place called Emerald Abyss.

    Dota 2 New Immortals

Furthermore, like previous Battle Passes, the developers are back with three more Immortal Treasures which bring with them some awesome cosmetic items. The list for the heroes which are going to include Immortals in the Treasure I, include Underlord, Vengeful Spirit, Terrorblade, Ancient Apparition, Riki, Spirit Breaker, Lich and Phantom Assassin who receives the very first Ultra Rare Immortal.

That is not all. Any player who opens up one of these treasures has a chance of getting his hands on the bonus rare reward called The Emblem of the Crystal Echelon. To learn more about the all-new Immortal items, check out the official blog for more details .

    More New Features

Battle Pass 2018 comes packed with some other interesting new features as well, including a brand new multi-team dungeon clash called The Underhollow. In this new mode, players will battle through a labyrinth filled with monsters, marvels and many other three-player enemy squads in search for Roshan’s rarest cheese. This is similar to the unique game modes we have seen in the past, especially the last year’s Siltbreaker.

The Dota 2 The International 2018 Battle Pass looks quite interesting. However, the one feature we are most excited about is the brand new Role-Based Matchmaking Queue. It fixes one of the biggest issues of the game. If you have been ranting about playing with teams filled with carries, this new feature will help you get out of that.

So, what are you waiting for? Get your Battle Pass now. Head on over to the official blog post for additional details .

As of now, The International 2018 prize pool has reached almost $4 million USD which is a record for the game. We believe this year the pool will go beyond the 50 million mark. However, as you all know, we are quite accurate with our predictions regarding Dota 2 , there is a high chance we are right again.

Dota 2 Battle Pass 2018: What to Expect

Now that The International 8 is just around the corner, the entire Dota 2 community was hoping for Valve to finally announce its 2018 Battle Pass for the game. However, with the developers releasing Dota Plus a couple of months back, everyone assumed that was it. Well, it seems we were all wrong as the developers are set to officially announce the Dota 2 Battle Pass 2018 today.

    Dota 2 Battle Pass 2018

At first, news regarding the Dota 2 Battle Pass 2018 came from the official Dota 2 Chinese Weibo account which stated that the Battle Pass will be releasing today. However, since it was a third-party source, and not the official Dota 2 account, many did not take the news seriously. Well, just a couple of hours later, the official Dota 2 account on Twitter posted this:

According to the post, Dota 2 Battle 2018 is set to release sometime today. Now, no one really knows what the Battle Pass will include but this much is confirmed that, this year Valve will be following a subterranean theme. And from what we have seen in the past, this means a lot of underground-theme sets and cosmetic items will be introduced in the game.

Furthermore, with Valve releasing the Pudge Arcana back in April , we believe the developers will also announce the Rubick Arcana in the 2018 Battle Pass. Previously, the runners-up of the Arcana Contest usually managed to get an Arcana of their own midway through the Battle Pass. But this is just a speculation. Hence, take it with a grain of salt.

We will be bringing you more on the Dota 2 Battle Pass 2018, so stay tuned. However, while you are waiting, comment below and let us know what you think will be added to the game with the upcoming 2018 Battle Pass.

    Dota 2 aghanim’s scepter rubik’s cube tricks

    Dota 2 aghanim’s scepter rubik’s cube tricks

    Dota 2 aghanim's scepter rubik's cube tricks

    General DiscussionAghanim scepter for PA

When will they add aghanim for Phantom Assasin? Will there be pure damage dagger then?

PS Check statistics btw, Aghanim on PA is already 69% win rate! What would be when it will have effect on her skills! Wow

Coup de Grace becomes a aura at lesser effect
    OR
Coup de Grace becomes castable and can be given to allies for short period.

^pls no! Sniper and sven would be a deadly combo-wombo

Well with that logic we should never buy tangoes because its winrate is 30%, my point is that the aghs winrate is probably people just buying the item at the end of a game they were already winning. But I would love to see what they have for an idea as an aghs.

^that means that 30% of PA bought aganim when they were losing! 😀 why tho?

Honestly i think its because they had the lead and then threw the game by buying aghs which gives PA not enough for too high of a price

^^I see the way you thinking is wrong.
Why don’t it be like when win hard the PA try to meme Agh build and insta lose after that?

funny that u didnt mention alchemist who boosted pa with aganim, that would be at least reasonable situation

BTW Aganim on pa is not even Meme, 5 battle furies is meme at least

PA is one of my favorite heroes though and Id say maybe give dagger a 25% crit chance and blinkstrike work on buildings. That or give better level 25 talent, and aghs give you the double strike dagger that can prioritize other heroes or hit the same one twice

Sorry I forgot about alch but i get your point

^It wouldn’t count if its not in item slot hahahahahaha

Also its only been used 1,700 times, thats a very very small sample size for the 3rd most played hero in the game. Thats also like saying everyone should build refresher on PA or octarine because it has an 82% winrate. The problem that its been hardly bought at all

pa aghs: makes blur block 1 instance of 300 magic dmg on a 6 second cd in an aura (applying this to all allied heroes in the 900 aoe)

numbers can be nerfed or buffed but I think this is a sound concept which puts aghs in the situational defensive item category.

still 1700 times is hardly a misclick 🙂 but, guys, this was just a joke, why so much attention for it? I suggested discussing the possibility of introduction of Aghanim for PA. It will happen sooner or later anyway

I gave my idea, I get carried away sometimes when I see b8

Coup de Grace procs have a chance to lower targets mmr by x amount

I would love to see scapter on pa giving him cancerous 5% for mortal strike, cause he is still not oped with his crit dmg.

this aghs idea is one of those “why bother?” upgrades. like they experimented with aghs on farm-reliant cores by giving am one, some ppl bought it at first then realized it’s so shit for the price, linkens gives you the same and gives 5 more stats and mana regen for 500 more. dusa aghs is just a no go when u already need so much items, pa can’t afford buying shit items for high price when her time is ticking (u are not significant after like 30 mins) 10 stats and some hp mana is literally nothing for 4k2, whatever it would give would be shit (considering “whatever” is not some broken shit IF would ever release)

aghs shud be a situational purchase on cores like that
something that helps pa deal with something she is weak against, but doesn’t always come up
maybe some form of disarm countering
maybe a way to make her mobile (phantom strike cd reduction/charges?)
at the very least these upgrades can come into play with an alch on ur team

    Dagger with charges lmao

Anybody else here remember that Slark has an aghs upgrade? No?

stifling dagger cooldown 1 second and increased range

I wud make phantom strike have 3 charges, and pa cannot be disarmed for the 4 attacks after phantom strike

I think the only agha she really would need is something like that her blur cannot be deactivated via silver edge or killed by mkb. Even with bkb she still as a 30% evade chance.

Something like this, since the most problem in the lategame is that she gets countered by a lot of items.

that one dagger barrage in darkmoon

+200% critical damage and and +20% critical chance.

Upgrade miss skill cant detect in minimap.

I think its enough to change the perception that phantom assassin is not always carry. She can be a support or 4th position. It will change the meta i think.

pa doesn’t need damage as another item choice, she needs a defensive option, or a way to better her lategame

Blur becomes aoe so all allies get it. mkb, silver edge, etc no longer stops blur

Aghs would be backtrack from faceless void pre rework

dude if aghs upgrade blur so mkb and se isnt counter anymore she will be cancer. pls dont ever think about it !

I would make it something like “blur now has a chance to evade all damage instances”

Agh PA : you can crit hit on building

it should make dagger have global range

i think pa aghs should be the idea of cancelling out true strike but it should be redueced so like pa gets 25% true evasion, evasion that can’t be countered by items or spells.

25% blur cahnce vs true strike + 1 other effect, 1 crit on demand long cd, or 1 raindrop charge type thing with high block and cd like above, or make phantom strike autocast a dagger without putting it on cd

^^guess i should read the posts but yeah., only thing is ur not gonna buy agh as a 5 slot for just 25% evasion because its just 350 hp 10 damage 1.5 armor and 10 ias. it has to do something else also or nobodoy will ever use it because skadi/AC just as good effectively against truestrike

or give blur an active where you just become immune to damage for like 2-4 seconds on like 30 sec cooldown.

make it so, that you just get 10 mmr when you build agham

Make blur into an active that dodges attacks (even through true strike) and spells for like 2 seconds.

    Blur like VOID BACKTRACK

what about like blink strike can be cast a second time after the first cast? like you blink on someone and within 3 seconds you can cast it again at a shorter range

Who need this if you can spamming dagger to other enemies, wait for blink cd, imo^

increasing crit chance by 85% would be great.

AM aghs is at least as good as linkens because it reflects spells. Sure there are a few you don’t want to reflect like lc duel, spirit breaker charge but that you can cancel that. CD is shorter than linkens and the regen on linkens isn’t needed, plus aghs is cheaper. It’s fine for am the way it is.

For PA aghs isn’t needed, not every hero needs aghs, but if you wanted to do something fun:

Makes dagger a non targeted aoe. Range may need to be tweaked, I’m thinking 750-900, similar to bristlebacks aoe spells.

Other option would be blink strike grants a buff giving 100% coupe de grace crit on your next attack. So blink strike onto a target guarantees a crit on next attack.

    General DiscussionHow to dodge games?

before the game loads, just disconnect
    be careful though
    1st dodge= 5min penalty
    2nd dodge= 20 min penalty
and so on. So you dont wanna dodge to often.

Yeah, I know, but how do I dodge immediately using a commend, without disconnecting and waiting for the timer to count down to 0?

    click abandon after disconnecting

Do I get the penalty for abandoning?

Yes, it will prevent you from finding new match for some time. No low prio or – mmr tho.

yes. since, it still on loading, on other player screen, you will failed to load. (as long as there still 1 or more other player still loading before you disconnect, if you disconnect when picking session i think it count as leave)
    and they instant re-queue

and you got 5min punishment (for 1st time dodge)
and 20 for second dodge, never tried the third one

24 hours for the 3rd one, some say its 4 hours
but based from my experience, its 24 hours

Had internet issues a few weeks back where I couldn’t connect to games on time, and can also vouch that it’s 24 hours for the third time.

As long as I don’t get low prio, I’m ok with the 5 min queue time.

Currently on 10/24 hour cd, my Potato decided not to load for a few games.

if you dont connect for 3x its 24 hours

dodging is an mmr increasing skill if u use it wisely

^can confirm, had like a 11 solo rank win streak using the power of dodging

lol when do u guys dodge?

When where is retarded player on your team.

Or when there is a pro player smurfing on the other team.

Dodge games on dire mostly. Or some shitty name + red page. Load a replay or something before searching for a game so that it loads faster and you have a good head start.

nice. so while other are loading i checj their profile and if theres a retard or smurfer then i disconnect?

i honestly feel like dodging dire is a slippery slope because im just going to win more games without improving in skill at all, so its going to be ultra cancer when i stop dodging dire

my dire / radiant split is 52/58 last 3 months ffs

whats wrong with dire side? I have a higher winrate in dire

2247 games ruined by being on dire team

So tru in my every account my dire wr is lower

Well, it’s easier to gain early advantage on radiant. The direction you’re facing is more comfortable, the same reason I think it’s easier to break highground on bottom lane for both sides. Even in 5k+ literally every hero has 6-7% higher win rate on radiant.

I haven’t actually done that, but the advantage currently is pretty huge. Also, as I started playing more rarely recently I am having more radiant games anyway so I’m happy. Previously I was getting like 55/45 split towards dire and that is really unlikely with the amount of matches I had, so I suspect that the placement isn’t entirely random.

That split is pretty much impossible with 50/50 chance. So, I think that it’s 50/50 below 4k and then leans towards dire, but after somewhere between 4.5-5k it starts leaning back towards radiant and after 5k you are more likely to be on radiant.

This might not be intended by devs, but simply a product of how matchmaking works. Also, I might be making this all up kek.
