Dota 2 Nature’s Prophet Blade Mail Build

Dota 2 Nature’s Prophet Blade Mail Build by kinkosan

Introduction

These days i saw bone7/Comewithme playing with NP with a different build, its was different and unique, to people who was watching bone7 stream these days with his NP will understand how its works, basically the core of this build is 4 null( or 3 to have slot for a tp) + PT + Blade Mail, i thought that it was just a fun build and I decided to try , and after some games i discovered that this is really good build and after playing some games and watching bone7 stream I decided to post a guide about it

PROS

  • + good against burst heroes
  • + good against squish heroes
  • + can counters some of the np counters
  • + its a really fun to play
  • + its a man fight build, its not recommended for pussies

CONS

  • – lose its effectiveness with you are a lot behind
  • – depends a lot in you to gets some early kills
  • – recommended for experienced NP players

Some thoughts about the build

While this build seems weird, its can be really effective against some heroes, especially against some of the NP counters(clock with no blademail, storm spirit no bkb) , heroes with burst(lina, sky, lion) , squish carry with no escape(luna, sniper, SF), and sometimes its good against the most hated heroes in meta(tinker, razor, void, mirana)

this builds depends a lot in rotations and early ganks, if your team play too much passive you cant really get a kill, so try to comunicate with your team and tell them to play more agressive, the earlier you get this core the faster you will snowball the game, if you get too late you cant really do much.

I’m not saying that this build its better than other builds, since its really situational, some times its better go just for splitpush(necro) or go for Bulldog build(treads + maels + blink)

The reason why this build is legit

its cheap and easy to get your core thats why you need to gets early kills, basically each kill you can get its a null talisman, having 3 null talisman in early game is no joke, even RTZ cant win against those Nulls Kappa , and its cheaper than a midas. Lets do some math:

  • 3 nulls = 9 all stats + 9 int + 9 dmg 1410 gold
  • 4 nulls = 12 all stat + 12 int + 12 dmg 1880 gold
  • M >and the total cost of this build and the others

  • 3/4 Nulls + PT + Blade Mail = 5010/5480 gold
  • PT + Maelstrom + Blink Dagger = 6150
  • M >this build its really cost-benefit in comparison with the other builds and you can do a lot in mid game if you can buy it fast

Lets say that you get your core on lvl10 , you will have more than 1200 hp with PT on str, +10 armor and hit more than 130, so, with you core you hit like SF and tank like a Cent and like I said, you need to get them fast, if you can get them you can snowball hard (a good time to have 3/4 nulls + PT + BM is at -16 min mark)

How To Play

With this build you can go jungle(but plz help your supports when they need) or offlaner, try play agressive get kill everytime you have tp, i noticed and bone7 playing, and he shared some thoughts, tp to get the kill, even if you die after you kill its worth, you will get xp and you will basically will get a null too( if you put the null to quick buy and buy before you die)

When you get your core(bm+treads+3/4 nulls) go hunt anyone that is alone just ult and tp on his side, if he tries to nuke you to death(like sky or lina) just turn on the blade mail and you will get free kill after you core, i recommend you buy maelstrom after so you hit harder(160dmg+ atk speed + chance to lighting) and farm + split faster, after meals you can go for any item that you think it’s good according to the game.

Its not really hard, but when i said that its recommended for experienced NP playes its because its requires a lot of map awareness and know when to go for a kill and when to farm, especially if you want to go for this build on a offlane, its easier to get farm in jungle, but when you go offlane its a little more trickier, since if you are against a goods support you dont get much farm and xp, thats why you need to be more aware about the game, if you see a chance to get a kill for it

Some Tips Against the Annoying Heroes on Meta

Vo >Yes , this build is actually good against void, though only if he go for a madness build, when you get your core you can manfight him until you kill him, if he jumps at you with madness just kill him you hit harder and you have blade mail, he cant hit you, or if he ults you try turn you bm before he ults and when ult is gone try to sprout him since he just jumped at you he cant get off unless he have a quelling or tango he cant get out and you just hit him to death, when he gets stronger, you really need a blink dagger to try bait his ult, you cant win against him late game, but you can deley a lot his farm in early/mid game

When your core you tank a lot, so you can even bait and took his arrow, normally when a mirana player get a good arrow they normally jump to get closer and try to get a kill, but that will be their mistake, when they leap just trap them with sprout turn on blade mail and kill her

Its a little trickier to go against razor, alone you cant really kill him, since he will just link you and you cant do much, but in team fights this build is good against razor, just wait him to link someone, when he does that go at him, even if he steal some dmg, it doesn’t matter since you tank a lot and hit harder, and he if he attacks you just turn on blade mail

Its the easiest one among those heroes, its easy to gank early game and easy to kill mid game, in early just tell to you mid go aggressive and try find the chance to kill him, and mid game when you have your core just use your treants to scout his jungle, when he shows up just ult tp on his side and kill him, when he gets his blink its gets a little harder but its just requires a little timing, when you ult wait to its hit him and try kill him

I hope guide helped those who wants to play a different kind of Nature Prophet.

Why Clinkz?

Clinkz is a strong pushing and ganking hero who is prone to snowballing especially in lower-tier matches. He has one of the highest damage outputs in the game, but is fairly squishy. Success with him requires a solid knowledge of how enemies deploy invisibility detection as well as a good sense of what ganks are safe to take and which ones should be avoided. If he gets off to a bad start Clinkz doesn’t have a strong comeback mechanic and it can be difficult for him to catch back up.

While Clinkz is making an appearance in the pro-scene, for the purposes of this gu >

Laning Stage

At the beginning of the game you need to focus on last hitting so that you can build a fast Soul Ring and Power Treads , preferably before the 8 minute mark. Luckily, Clinkz is blessed with Searing Arrows which makes last hitting creeps a breeze. Since you have insane DPS in the beginning of the game, feel free to harass your enemies.

Clinkz is a great m > Searing Arrows .

Once you hit level 6 and have your Soul Ring and Power Treads you are ready to roam around the map and get kills on your own. (If you were m >

Death Pact and Soul Ring

Clinkz’s ultimate Death Pact gives healing, health and damage output based on the proportional stats of the creep that you target. It is absolutely essential to use before staging an attack. At the beginning of the game it’s an incredibly mana-intensive skill, but smart use of your Soul Ring and Power Treads can mostly offset those costs.

Here’s how you do it:

1) Locate a suitable creep, which is always largest creep available in a camp (IE, the blue Centaur, red Tomato, purple bird etc), or, if in a pinch when you are in lane eat a Seige creep.

2) Switch your Power Treads to Int, pop your Soul Ring and deploy Death Pact .

3) Finish off the creep camp with Searing Arrows (so that when you come back to it later there is another large creep to eat) and then Shadow Walk before the Soul Ring expires.

Now you’re invisible, healed up past full health, have a good mana pool, and are boosted with lots of extra damage. You have about 30 seconds to secure a kill.

Anatomy of a Gank (and why you shouldn’t get Orchid)

The best builds for Clinkz focus on his insane DPS while also managing his rather fragile mana pool. Staging a perfect gank requires good timing as well as a decent understanding of the enemy jungle. Once you’ve eaten a creep you have a short window of time to close the distance on a lone hero and light them up with your flaming arrows of death.

It’s as easy as getting close to them, popping Strafe and watching them melt. They might be able to run out of range of you if it is still early game, but if this happens, just pop [[Skeleton Walk>> again to catch up and repeat the process. If they’re caught alone very few heroes caught can survive.

If you can get Desolator before the 15 minute mark they will melt even faster and you are probably on course to win the match. (If Deso takes 25 minutes or more you will probably lose). In this patch Desolator is incredibly cheap, adds a bunch of damage and will let you push and take down towers with ease.

Most gu > Scythe of Vyse . The so-called “Sheep Stick” has a more powerful disable and provides more mana regen. Just like the Orchid, you can buy the Sheep in stages, helping your mana trouble along the way while you save up for it.

The main reason that Sheep is better than Orch > Blade Mail or Shadow Blade and can use it to escape your well-crafted attack. You do so much DPS that most enemies will be pretty close to dead by the time the 3.5 second disable expires.

When I have sheep stick in my inventory, I start a gank usually with a single auto attack, then sheep the enemy, and then finish off bursting them down.

The Enemy Has Detection. Should I Just Rage Quit?

There comes a time in every invisibility-dependent hero’s career when the enemy team realizes that they need to start carrying Dust of Appearance , buying sentry wards and possibly even carrying a Gem of True Sight . This can cause some habitual invisible players to curse the day they were born and sit in fountain sucking their thumbs. But don’t despair, all is not lost.

The trick to dealing with detection is as easy as understanding their strategy. Every type of detection has a weakness. If they’re dropping sentries, you could try to de-ward, but in most cases it is just easier to look for a kill in another part of the map. If they use dust, Shadow Walk has the added advantage of also providing a speed boost. You can usually just run away. Finally, if they get a gem, the best strategy is to simply kill their gem-carrier and go back to murdering them.

Unlike Riki , Clinks is a ranged DPS hero, which means even if they can see you, you can still kill them from a distance. If the enemy team is doing an excellent job finding you, simply stand behind your tankier teammates and pretend you are Drow Ranger or Sniper . As just another glass cannon, you still do more damage than either of them.

Friends and Foes

Crystal Maiden : Her mana aura solves your mana issues and her frostbite can give you early kills.

Lion : He stuns, you burst down the target. It’s a match made in heaven.

Spirit Breaker : Plan your ganks together for twice the success rate.

Life Stealer: He can hop a ride inside of you while you’re invisible and help you burst them down.

Zeus : His lightening always seems to find you.

Slardar and Bounty Hunter : their detection abilities are annoying.

Legion Commander : her disable can really screw you, especially if she uses the blade mail combo.

Your least favorite item that most enemy teams build:

Anyone who uses Blade Mail : seriously, if there is one item that counter’s clinkz it’s this one. In a typical gank you can have two or three arrows in the air before they hit your target. If they pop Blade Mail it is game over. This is why you need Sheep stick.

Comments Appreciated

This is a very quick gu > Clinkz and I hope that it gives you a few basics to try the hero out. I’d love to include your comments into a more fully fleshed out guide. So please tell my what I’m missing below.

The new heroes started their journey pretty underpowered, not even reaching 45% win rate in their opening days. Players getting acquainted with their skill set and some balance changes have finally made heroes playable in high level pubs and also made it possible to start discussing them, since it is unlikely they will be receiving anything but some minor number tweaks in the nearest future.

The Reach beta has concluded and the team is now working hard towards the Season 1 launch. Here we share some of the details on the upcoming Season, and what players can expect when they log in to play.

The new patch is wild, with all the positive and maybe some negative connotations this word implies. As such, we are trying to be extremely cautious when discussing it so that we don’t unnecessarily invoke some misguided disenchantment from the community.

62 new items are available for finding, not purchasing. You can now build your inventory through jungling and not spending your gold. Is this good? Bad? Who knows, it’s too early to tell.

The Reach Beta has been a valuable month for us at Elo. The feedback from our community has allowed us to make considerable progress in refining the key automated systems of the platform and we couldn’t possibly be more excited to see people begin to play in Season One.

This is going to be less of a stats recap and more of a farewell to a patch, which overstayed its welcome for at least a couple of months. Instead of going over the same heroes once more, we felt it is more appropriate to highlight some of the heroes which were outside of the meta at the tournament’s start, but nevertheless had a great impact in the later stages of MDL Chengdu.

Bounty runes, come back gold, ancient creeps, camps stacking, and more. The economy of Dota keeps growing and growing but how does that affect supports and cores?

We’ve done a lot of testing with our current systems in the Reach league and are finally confident in opening it up to more users. Divine level players may now participate in Reach, effective immediately.

The first major tournament of the season is finally happening. Get up to date with all the teams participating, their odds of winning it all, and more!

Patch 7.22 is certainly overstaying its welcome and it clearly shows in the current professional tournaments. There are almost no new meta developments and for the most part the Summit 11 concentrated on the same exact heroes as the tournaments prior.

Captains and drafters are some of the most revered pros in the scene. The genius drafting strategies and counter picks can win the game before the first bounty runes spawn. Here are some draft ideas to try out for your next battle cup tournament.

Reach had an exciting and informative first week of games, with over 1000 matches played, and over 1200 unique players participating. Here’s the rundown on week 1, and what’s coming down the pipeline.

The idea of a tanky frontline hero in the offlane has been repeated over and over again for the last several months. It makes sense on the professional scene, while working incredibly well in pubs. Building survivability items and allowing yourself to be initiated on has become the go to strategy for a lot of teams and it is unlikely to change until after the new patch is released.

MMR may just be a number but a higher number is superior. Read this article to learn a few tips and tricks on growing your MMR number.

The current meta has been established for a long time but teams still must find their slight edge. At ESL One Hamburg 2019, we saw more of what we’ve been seeing for a few months now.

[OG] M4’s guide to All Random Deathmatch (updated for 6.84c)

[OG] M4’s guide to All Random Deathmatch (updated for 6.84c)

1. Introduction
2. Fine Print
3. Items
4. Heroes

Introduction

ARDM is fricking great. If you like being on your feet and want to play well with a variety of heroes, this is the mode for you.

The mode is like regular Dota, except that you spawn a new random hero when you die. New heroes retain levels, gold and items.

There are two victory conditions (push or get 45 kills), so the game’s overall strategy can be different from the normal game. Teamfights happen more often, and Dagon is popular. The game can reach a point where push becomes secondary to simply getting pick-offs.

Fine Print

  • You can swap heroes at the beginning of the game. You cannot repick. No hero spawns twice.
  • If you deny an ally or yourself, or go die to a neutral creep, the enemy doesn’t get the XP/Gold, but you still lose one of your 45 lives.
  • Players who cannot respawn anymore (when the team has run out of lives) can still buy and drop shareable items like Observer Ward s, Bottle , Perseverance , and Gem of True Sight for the surviving team.
  • If someone dies and abandons, you cannot sell their items.
  • If someone abandons and their hero is alive, you can sell their items.
  • If someone disconnects/abandons, you can use their hero, but if that hero dies, they don’t respawn until they reconnect.
  • Visage ‘s Familiars die when the main hero dies, but otherwise most non-hero units and wards such as Nature’s Prophet ‘s treants, Holy Persuasion creeps, Lycan ‘s wolves, Templar Assassin ‘s traps survive after death.
  • Legion Commander ‘s stolen damage does not stay after death, nor does Silencer ‘s stolen intelligence or Pudge ‘s fatty stacks.
  • Vengeful Spirit ‘s negative aura only stays until the Venge player respawns.
  • Alchemist ‘s Aghanim’s Scepter buff does not stay if Alchemist or the buff recipient dies.

Items

Items to counter

A list of items by popularity. This is so you know what to watch out for, and possibly pick:

  • Dagon – Probably the most popular item in this mode, although it’s very hit or miss, especially if rushed too early without enough survivability/damage items.
  • Blink Dagger – when their Lich or Brewmaster teamwipes you and buys a Dagger, he is impossible to catch till the end of the game. This is probably the first big item you should get.
  • Hand of Midas – A lot of people rush M >Linken’s Sphere / Lotus Orb – Btw, medallion of courage DOES NOT break Linken’s. If it’s late enough in the game that all fights are 5v5 and you don’t anticipate being Dagoned by surprise, Lotus Orb serves you better than Linken’s.
  • Shadow Blade / Glimmer Cape – very annoying, and at worst puts a money strain on the enemy to buy detection.

Items that are likely to make you win

  • Dagon
  • Blink Dagger
  • Orchid Malevolence
  • Radiance
  • Linken’s Sphere
  • Assault Cuirass
  • Shadow Blade
  • Helm of the Dominator
  • Drum of Endurance
  • Vladmir’s Offering
  • Tranquil Boots – very useful if you roam a lot (and you should)
  • Arcane Boots
  • Heart of Tarrasque
  • Crimson Guard
  • Blademail
  • Bloodstone

Items that are likely to make you lose

  • Mask of Madness – It’s okay if you bought it when you were Faceless Void , but you have to resist the urge to turn it on when you’re chasing someone as Zeus .
  • Aghanim’s Scepter – if farmed too early in a game that you are already losing
  • Dagon – if farmed too early in a game that you are already losing
  • Battle Fury – if farmed too early in a game that you are already losing

Troll Strategy

Many people rush Hand of Midas and Dagon with some form of boots, and if the game goes in their favour they get fat on stolen kills and win easy. It’s a risky strat but worth a try.

Snapfire is a ranged strength hero armed with a wide array of firepower, riding into battle on her dragon toad Mortimer. Her powerful Scattershot blasts foes who get too close, while her mounted turret increases her range, allowing her to unleash a barrage of rapid fire attacks. Snapfire’s coveted Firesnap Cookies give allies a boost, allowing them to leap a short distance. The cookies aren’t her only secret weapon, her dragon toad has the ultimate nasty surprise for the enemy team—a long range artillery barrage of Mortimer Kisses that coat the map in searing lava. Bio [ edit ]

Beatrix Snapfire and her dragon toad Mortimer are a welcome sight to the ragged folk who scratch out lives along the desert routes and oases scattered throughout Nanarak, the rain-forsaken gateway to the Outlands.

As well known for her unrivaled skills as a weaponsmith as for dispensing wisdom, mirth, and the meanest firesnap cookies the world has ever seen, Beadie’s survived to a ripe old age in a young keen’s trade by being quick with her wits and even quicker with her guns.

Indeed, the Outlands are littered with the bones of bandits and ne’er-do-wells who thought to take advantage of her small stature and propensity for kindness.

Abilities [ edit ]

  • An additional visual effect is played on enemies hit at point-blank range.
  • Damage dealt at point blank range is 120/225/330/435 ( 210/315/420/525).
  • The cookie travels at 1000 speed and cannot be disjointed.
  • Has a cast point of 0.3 when used on self.
  • Destroys trees upon landing.
  • Can not be cast on rooted targets.
  • Sets Snapfire’s base attack time to 1.0, increases her attack speed by 300, and sets her attack damage to 40/55/70/85 for the duration.
  • Each affected attack places an additional instance on the target and refreshes the duration of the whole stack.
  • Can reduce up to 90/120/150/180 attack speed if all attacks are aimed at one target.
  • Attack speed slow also affects towers, even through Glyph of Fortification.
  • Deals a total of 240/330/420/510 damage.
  • Shoots globs over a period of 6 seconds, meaning that one glob is shot every 0.857 ( 0.4) seconds. Skilling the +8 globs talent doubles the firing speed and maintains the 6 second period.
  • Issuing a move command causes Snapfire to turn in the direction of the targeted point and re-targets subsequent globs at that point.
    • If the command is targeted outside the maximum range or inside the minimum range, the glob will be launched the maximum/minimum distance respectively in the direction of the move command.
  • Enemies making contact with firespit pools receive a debuff that slows movement speed by 25% ( 50%) and deals 25/37.5/50 damage every 0.5 seconds. The debuff lingers for 0.5 seconds.
    • The debuff does not stack. Touching any pool will refresh the debuff’s duration.

General DiscussionHow do i lane vs a sniper?

I’m a mid player and i really want to know, how to lane vs sniper. I’ve gone vs sniper as invoker and storm recently and i’ve completely got wrecked. I wish to know what to do and how to survive the lane vs him.

Unlike with zeus, you cant just move a bit to the side of the creeps to not get hit by his first, you cant deny his clarity and already get an advantage because his shrapnel is quite cheap.

You cant outlasthit a good player because his attack animation is almost instant.

You cant harass him because he has better range and ”Headshot” which gives him an advantage.

So my question is : How do you win mid vs sniper?

I want to know the counters ( mid laners ) and how to lane as a non-counter.

isnt his weakness that he is really easy to gank?

yes, make sure your team picks gankers and gank the shit out of him. Facing sniper solo is actually quite hard.

You need aggressive play against a sniper, and preferably a gank. He’s slow and has no trick to survive, or burst damage to be dangerous early on.
Also you can hope has bad luck with headshot, as his base damage is ridiculously weak, or get a stable melee with quelling to get some decent farm.

Storm is a really good counter (after lvl 6).

Heroes who fuck him up are Tusk, Spectre, Templar Assassin, Phantom Assassin, Puck (it he player is good), etc.

Bassically heroes who can cut the distance between you and them really fast.

If im going sniper mid I hate to lane against a good huskar.

How awfully out of position must sniper be to be easily ganked during laning?

Doesn’t need to be awfully oop, a moment of letting down his guard is enough.

just kill him, he’s made out of paper

Mid sniper? That’s the blessing I would want to hear when I play support ganking mid at 0 min with smoke

Spirit Breaker on your team with lvl 2 and on ganks. Enojy the other team calling him a feeder.

Just like huskar sniper is rlly hard to lane against. However he is as squishy as a fucking rotten tomato. Just get a better block then walk at him. Or have a support walk at him.

Thanks for all the positive responses. Im going to gitgud.

Viper is a somewhat decent count I think 1v1 mid but you need phase boots or catch sniper badly out of position. Basically make him burn his shrapnels. When he does he’ll eat your skin debuff for equal or greater dmg depending on how long you sit in the shrapnel. Then without sharpnel he has to stay away cus ur slows will just let you kill him if he doesn’t slow you, and you can harass him down with poison spit. Snipers base dmg is horrible so any time he hits you he’ll actually take equal or more dmg than he puts out from corrosive skin. Once you hit 6 if you have phase boots or wind lace he’s toast. A build like 2/1/2/1 at 6 or 3/1/1/1 should do it.

Pudge if you are really good and sniper sucks is obvious to cus he can’t survive a hook that lands.

I think TA can be good as well. Psi blade spill dmg hits 790/890/990/1090 away so you can hit snipers if you line it up right. And you can negate the start of his shrapnel with refraction.

Alch you won’t kill him but sniper can’t stop your farm. You just acid the wave and he can’t walk through it to hit you or get around cus he’ll take too much dmg. His only shot is to get deny crazy.

That headshot and dragon lancer is hell! pick nyx assassin or riki (if he has gem as riki you will die but if nyx just use this 3rd skill that stuns him for 3 seconds) to assassinate him also pa works good againts him if he has no level 4 sharpanel or pa will rage.

Team Liquid won the trophy at MDL Macau 2019 this morning, beating Evil Geniuses in a strong 3-1 series. Liquid will take home $135,000 USD out of the $300,000 prize pool, while EG will receive $60,000.

For Evil Geniuses, this was the first Grand Finals they’ve played in since winning the DOTA Summit 9 in July 2018. The squad placed third at the International 2018, the Kuala Lumpur Major and the Chongqing Major. Their second-place finish is especially gratifying given that they did it with stand-in Quinn “CC&C” Callahan playing mid while Sumail “Suma1L” Hassan took some vacation time.

According to Dotabuff, this extends Liquid’s record versus Evil Geniuses to five series won and only two lost. It’s a solid record that Evil Geniuses will look to flip at the next event for these two teams: the Stockholm Major starting mid-March.

The tournament took place over five days, with eight teams competing. Alongside Liquid and EG were Virtus. pro, Newbee, Royal Never Give Up, Vici Gaming, EHOME and Invictus Gaming. The latter five teams were all Chinese, and they took the last five places at the event, with Newbee in fourth. Virtus. pro, the only CIS team at the event, came in third.

Team Liquid was happy to pick up the Battlefury-shaped trophy. In a post-win onstage interview, Captain Kuro “Kuroky” Salehi Takhasomi commented, “We’re happy that we came here and we can prove that we’re still good.” The squad struggled at their last significant tournament, the Chongqing Major, placing a disappointing 7-8th. While MDL Macau 2019 is not on the Dota 2 Pro Circuit (DPC), and will not impact Liquid’s shot at an invitation to the International 2019, they will be happy to build some momentum heading into the second half of the Circuit.

The Grand Finals were very quick, with the fourth game in the series the longest at 28 minutes and 52 seconds. The first two games in the series were under 24 minutes. Across the entire MDL tournament, the average game was over 37 minutes long, so the Grand Finals were quite speedy by comparison.

In game one, Team Liquid’s Amer “Miracle-“ Al-Barkawi had 19 kills and zero deaths on his Phantom Assassin. He used his Juggernaut in game two to push over objectives, including five towers and one barracks, doing nearly 7,800 building damage, more than four times the total building damage mustered by EG.

While Evil Geniuses shut down Miracle-‘s Drow Ranger in game 3, killing her four times and keeping her to a dismal single kill, he came back in game four with Troll Warlord and the EG squad couldn’t shut him down. He had nine kills and zero deaths at the end of that match. Unsurprisingly, the talented carry received the tournament’s MVP trophy – a golden Axe.

MDL Macau was broadcast in English by Beyond the Summit from a set in their new office. Despite being off-site, the neon lights aesthetic of the tournament was carried over into the set design. The casting team was small, with Grant “GranDGranT” Harris, Trent MacKenzie, and Andy “Draskyl” Stiles covering the primary stream.

The next MDL event has not yet been announced. The DPC will return on March 7 with the Starladder ImbaTV Dota 2 Minor. Teams Royal Never Give Up and Vici Gaming, who both placed 5-6th in Macau, will both compete at the Minor.

No problem. I read the discussion in the (monkey) buisness thread and thought the Jungz should really have their own one.

the shield outlines the contours of the face, the 5 is the mouth, and the beak is where the eyes would be and other parts of the bird sort of suggest a nose/hair/some mask

dno it’s kind of abstract but it’s the where my head went when I first saw the logo.. probably aided by my near-sightedness

I would not go with this,
Monkey Business got Miracle and thats it. Notail on that core position is nothing that I would call a t1 team performer. He is solid and he is notail, but he still shines more as 4th position.

Their offlane can t get compared to MC.. MC is a damn good offlane, I would rly go with the statement, he is top 5 offlanes in the world. Super solid, wide hero pool. It s just a matter of time people will call him one of the best.

Kky was often criticized for the drafts, but he learns fast and adapts fast. At the start they rly struggled against PL teams, thats it. They had no concept for and this problem is solved. He is a good drafter – after so much years with puppey it s nothing someone should be surprised.

if you compare jerax to crit.. there is a world between. I could start with a detailled analysis, but in the end it comes down to, I think 5Jungz got more potential than monkey.

but let s see how it goes.

I don’t think Cr1t is inferior to jerax. That said they have different play styles too.

As a whole, I do prefer 5jungz because I only value miracle as exceptional, and the rest average (8k + four 4k hehehhee). Meanwhile fata Kuro and mc are very very good players.

Thank you all, um another question.. is worth to buy Midas to Enigma? i was on minute 4:50 (5) and i decided to buy it so i had good gold all game (i started warding in that minute, anyway there was no gank and middle lane got runes before)

I would have rushed a Blink Dagger.

Enigma’s benefit as a jungler is that, if left unchecked, he’s incredibly efficient and can easily farm up items while gaining levels rapidly. Getting a Midas is sort of like. getting a Midas on Alchemist(Assuming it’s a carry Alchemist who gets Greevil’s Greed); it’s incredibly greedy, and you’re sort of wasting the ability to farm rapidly and push an advantage with items to get that Midas.

Something like a fast Mek, Blink Dagger, etc, would allow your team to push their advantage as a whole and would get you more farm. As an Enigma, you don’t need to farm faster because, while items are great, his impact can be felt much sooner with items than with a Midas, and allows you to push towers, take fights, etc, all which will give you more Gold when used properly than a Midas.

also jug, and any hero with magic immunity

Blademail is only good if your hero has a lot of hp. Otherwise, the above suggestions

huskars passive mutigated mos of the damage.

to the OP, get heavens halberd, disable his auto’s, get some auto attacks in to destroy his ♥♥♥♥, hex works well for this due to passive disable

any midas before 8mins is fine. 9min for supports. remember it’s a high risk high reward item

No, any Midas is not fine. You have to ask yourself if that Gold would be better spent on other items, if the game can drag on long enough for you to get a benefit from that Midas(Or if the enemy can deal crippling damage while you have a useless item), is the benefit of additional levels and farm really a priority, etc. A Midas can be a low risk item in some cases when the enemy doesn’t have much for the early game, or your team can carry you for a while; it’s high risk when people just pick one up for no reason other than “I can get it early.” when they don’t comprehend that you need to draw the game out to get benefit.

On Enigma, an early Mek can easily garner more global Gold for your team than a Midas through winning fights or forcing towers, which snowballs into taking more fights and towers while restricting map control. Getting a Midas means you lose that advantage and are wasting your efficiency to be MORE efficient in an area you don’t need it. You have to look at the options when getting a Midas, and MANY more questions matter than the time you get it, especially depending on the level of pubs you play at.

4. Skill build explanation
5. Laning/and Ganking
6. In teamfights
7. Conclusion

Introduction

Although Zeus is often played as support, he is best as a nuker. This is because he can cause massive single target burst damage early game, and can blast the entire enemy team with his ult. His nuking proficiency makes him often played as a semi carry. Zeus is a great m >

Pros/cons

Pros:
Great burst damage
Global ult
arc lightning is great for harass/last hitting in lane
arc lightning has extremely low cool down
lightning bolt does ridiculous damage early on
ult gives sight of enemies
static field turns single target skills into aoe
static field removes percentage of enemy health rather than damaging them
lightning bolt and arc lightning are spammable

Cons:
Slow movement speed
Very mana dependent
complete spell caster, no right click damage
Fairly squishy early on

Item build explanation

Here I will explain my item build. You start out with 2 clarities because you need to have a consistent supply of mana early game to out harass the enemy. This also helps with performing ganks, which I will talk about later. Iron branches are for extra stats and the tangos are just for good measure.

Into the early game, the boots of choice are arcanes to help with spell spamming. You will want to turn the iron branches into a magic wand, and a perseverance for bonus health/mana regen, and for a bloodstone later on.

Zeus has three main core items. Aghanim’s scepter, Bloodstone, and veil of discord. The Scepter is there to make his ult even more powerful, bloodstone gives much needed tankiness and mana regen. finally, the veil of discord gives decent stats, but the fact that it can make Zeus do even more magic damage is what makes it a great item on him.

Finally, for luxury and/or situational items get a refresher orb, orch >

Skill build explanation

The skill build for Zeus is simple. Max out Lightning Bolt first for damage, get a level of arc lightning at 2 for long range last hitting/harass, and then static field at 4 for aoe damage. Get your ult at the standard 6, 11, and 16. Beyond this max out arc lightning by 10 and static field by 14, because the damage isn’t really significant until late game.

Laning/and Ganking

Zeus should almost always take the middle lane. This is because his skills allow him to solo mid very easily, and he can harass well. Also, a good level advantage early game can really kill the enemy team. In lane don’t spam arc lightning too much, because you will need to conserve mana for lightning bolt. However, if you are getting our harassed, use arc lightning to last hit is good because of the high cast range.

A lot of people don’t believe that Zeus can gank, solely because of his lack of disables/slows. It is true that he isn’t the best ganker when alone, but with a little help he can help his teammates dominate their lane. This is because of his lightning bolt, which does terrifying damage early game.

In teamfights

Zeus is a great teamfight hero. This is because of his huge burst damage. He can also initiate or scout ahead with his ult. However, if their is already an initiator on your team, leave it to him. If you don’t end up initiating use your veil of discord on the entire enemy team, then use your ult. If you have a refresher orb and the mana to support 2 ults, you can end wiping the entire enemy team.

Conclusion

Overall, Zeus is a decent support, but an amazing nuker who can wreck his enemies with burst damage, and isn’t too difficult to learn, either.
