The Worst of the Heroes in Dota 2.

Most heroes can be evil in their own ways, but this thread is about heroes whose evil deeds truly stand out from most other heroes: heroes whose actions clearly cause chaos, and may or may not have influenced the war. You can make your own list or add to this one.

Let’s explore my list, shall we?

1. Chaos Knight: he basically is sent to hunt down and kill Ezalor (Keeper of the Light). Apparently, I didn’t know it was completely reasonable to slay millions of innocent people just to slay a demigod.

2. Ezalor, the Keeper of the Light: so he escapes the fundamental plane and causes chaos throughout the world, and now all he does is to creep on girls. He’s Creeper of the Light, and he’s a huge dick for abandoning his duties and causing Chaos Knight to slay millions of innocents while Ezalor pervs on girls – even Spectre. By the way, when he made the sun, he is mostly responsible for the mass-genocide of Balanar’s (Night Stalker’s) people.

3. Kaldr, the Ancient Apparition: he is pretty much the Albert Wesker of Dota 2. You don’t see him often, and most heroes don’t think he’s a big deal, but he has an ego 10 times the size of Pudge and his reason of fighting is to create a new world order where he is the almighty god. Don’t believe me? Read his responses.

4. Jah’rakal, the Troll Warlord: he is an IRL version of an internet troll. Gets butthurt that his peers abused him and he decided to go on a complete rampage, and now he fucks people up just because. “I kill my enemies first, my allies next.”

5. Pugna, the Oblivion: apparently he acts like a huge bitch during his childhood because he doesn’t get to be spoiled like the typical rich white girl in a high school, so he goes to spree kill his entire town, and now he bans. er, banishes people whenever he wants.

6. Chen, the Holy Knight: he is a homage to extremists of any religion. Anyone who does not follow Chen’s religion, Chen will smite them. Painfully.

7. Aiushtha, the Enchantress: similar to Chen, she is an extreme hippie. Anyone who does not follow Aiushtha’s way, she will enchant them to death.

8. Ostarion, the Skeleton King: similar to a controlling emperor, Ostarion the Skeleton King wishes to conquer the land to build up his empire. Dissimilar to a controlling emperor, Ostarion converts those he kills into slaves. Yeah. Kills people, then makes them his slaves.

9. Rotund’jere, the Necrolyte: there isn’t much to say about him, he basically starts as a corrupt priest who wants noble’s assets, then after catching the pox, he travels the world to infect the global population.

10. Shadow Demon: he pretty much puts the “tan” in Satan. Starts as an evil genie who grants wishes to people, Shadow Demon maipulates and corrupts them into creating an evil satanic cult to try to convert the entire world to worship the Satan. Luckily he gets bitch-slapped by Lucifer (Doom) and Nevermore (Shadow Fiend), but he will keep making the cult to try to take over the world. over and over and over again.

Новые верхняя панель и мини-карта

Теперь верхняя панель занимает меньше места. Кроме того, мы добавили портретам героев сверху несколько функций, позволили открывать меню настроек прямо во время игры и подготовили упрощенную (но вовсе не обязательную) мини-карту.

Обновленная панель героя

Мы сделали панель управления героем меньше, чтобы добавить к ней новый раздел талантов и ячейки ранца. Кроме того, теперь информация о выбранных юнитах отображается в выпадающем окне слева, чтобы вы могли следить за игрой, не теряя своего героя из виду.

Новый раздел лавки и управления курьером

Теперь расход маны на использование предметов отображается прямо на их иконках в инвентаре, так что вы не забудете, сколько маны нужно оставить на такой важный Force Staff.

The Shanghai Major

As announced during the Grand Finals in Frankfurt, the next Dota Major will be held in Shanghai, China from March 2nd – 6th, 2016 at the Mercedes-Benz Arena. Dota 2 frankfurt major day 4 of not smoking The event will be produced by Perfect World and the prize pool will be $3,000,000. The Open Qualifiers will be held from January 3rd – 6th with the Regional Qualifiers directly following from the 7th – 10th. Team registration for the Open Qualifiers will begin on December 18th. For those interested in attending the event in person, information about ticketing will be available soon.

The Frankfurt Major Champions

Congratulations to OG for winning the first Dota 2 Major Championship. They came from the Regional Qualifiers, and went through a seemingly impossible road starting in the Lower Bracket and going through all the way to the Grand Finals. On their way to victory they took down Fnatic, Mineski, Virtus Pro, CDEC Gaming, EHOME and Evil Geniuses. In the Grand Finals they faced off against Team Secret and took the series 3-1.

Following the success of the Dota 2 Asia Championships (DAC) last year, Perfect World will be hosting The Shanghai Major which will take place at the Mercedes Benz Arena from March 2-6, 2016. We’ll be announcing more details such as ticketing information as the event approaches. All roster changes will be locked on December 8th for teams looking forward to participating in the Major.

In other Dota news, we are putting the finishing touches on the Desert Map and the underlying technology, and we’re hoping to have it ready around the middle of December when our next update will be released.

The Frankfurt Major Grand Finals

After five days of amazing play only three teams remain. Team Secret secured their place in the Grand Finals by winning an intense back-and-forth series against Evil Geniuses. EG now finds themselves in the Lower Bracket Finals facing OG, a team that has had an impressive run fighting their way through the Lower Bracket. The winner will move on to battle Team Secret in the best-of-five Grand Finals showdown, with the champions taking home over one million dollars. The broadcast begins at 10:30am CET, watch it live to see who will be the first team ever to have their name engraved on the Eaglesong trophy.

How do I Jungle with Nature’s Prophet?

I have not been playing DOTA 2 for that long, and have only really been laning and playing standard. But I would love to start to jungle – the only problem is, I am not sure how to do this in a proper way. Well – I know the basics.

I want to learn to play as a jungler using Nature’s Prophet. There might not be a guide “This is how to win by Jungling with NP” – but I would love to know how to be effective.

How do I effectively jungle with Natures Prophet?

(If you believe there’s a better alternative of hero choice, I would love to know which one, and why.)

Pretty much any hero in the game can benefit from jungle in order to free a lane (with creep stacking and pulling : See Video). There are several characters that can do it without the creeps, Nature’s Prophet is one of them and you can start practicing with him. There are several starting items you can get with different benefits:

  • 4 or 5 Clarity Potion: will help you sustain and summon more treants
  • A Gloves of Haste + 2 Clarity Potion: for a Hand of Midas rush. However your low mana pool and high manacost of summon will force you to go back to base a few time
  • Ring of Basilius + 2 x Clarity Potion (My favourite) : it will make your treants stronger, give you a pretty good early mana regen and give you a damage aura for you and your treant
  • Null Talisman + Clarity Potions (not recommended) : Use this start ONLY if you want to have some fun with the ganking teleport Nature’s Prophet and rush a Dagon. Thus the Null Talisman will be used for the Dagon.

Now the strat for an efficient start: Treants last for 60sec and have a 37sec cooldown (which means you can have 2 packs summoned at time). The first spawn of neutrals is 30 sec after creep spawn (00:30 gameclock). So for an efficient start you will want to summon treants 7 second before the game starts at the fountain (free mana regen). By doing this you make sure that the cooldown of 37sec will be up at 00:30 (when neutrals spawn) allowing you to get 2 pack of treant for starting. Kill a small camp, (you have about 25 second) > step away and let the camp respawn (at 1:00) > kill it again. You are now level 2 and you can start trying to kill either a big camp (avoid Hellbear Smasher before level 2 treants) or keep going with small/medium. It is really (really) important to micro your treants to not let them die, make them run away when they are low life so neutrals will change target, then put them back in the fight. You will gain a lot of damage thanks to this. You can even sometime let neutral target you instead of your treant to get more damage. I advise you get an early (at level 2) point in Teleport so you can fountain trip faster if needed.

I advise no matter what your starters items are, to rush a Hand of Midas and use it every time it’s off cooldown on a big neutral from a big camp (you get x2.5 XP and this will help you boost your XPM (experience per minute)). I am not going to expand on how to play Nature’s Prophet and what item build you should go for but Hand of Midas will help you farm faster any item you would need for you and your team (Power Treads, Shadow Blade, Mekansm, Scythe of Vyse etc.)

Some tips to keep in mind

  • Being in the jungle does not mean ignoring the lane. You have one of the most powerful early game ability : Teleportation. You can turn any situation by teleporting in and giving your team a +1 advantage. If you get several kills you can even transition your gank into a tower push.
  • Watch out for the enemy courier (especially in early game). If you spot it try to teleport on his way back and snipe it. If you manage to do that while the enemy mid is bottle crowing, it can ruin his early game but remember to.
  • . always keep a TP scroll on yourself. If you use Teleportation agressivley, the TP scroll will allow you to come back to base as soon as you’re done.
  • You can use Teleportation while invisible with Shadow Blade / Shadow Amulet / Silver Edge and it won’t break the invisibility
  • Try to get at least 1 escape mechanism (Force Staff, Blink Dagger or Shadow Blade so you can use Teleportation safely)
  • When teleporting to a lane to push, don’t TP directly in the lane but TP in the trees instead, then if the lane is safe clear your path by creating treants, it’ll be much safer.

Nhưng ngoài các phần thưởng cơ bản ra, các team còn có “cơ hội” kiếm cho mình nhiều tiền thưởng hơn nữa bằng cách cá cược trước trận đấu. Theo đó, ban tổ chức sẽ cấp cho 6 team mức tiền ban đầu là 1 triệu đồng. Các đội sẽ phải thỏa thuận cược 1 khoản tiền trước khi thi đấu và người giành chiến thắng sẽ nhận về số tiền mà đối thủ lẫn bản thân đã cược. Team nào có số vốn dưới 200.000 đồng sẽ bị loại.
