Crystal Maiden.

1000 / 2400 очков

Можно приобрести в магазине Dota. Dota 2 new bloom event rewards network

Получают все участники битвы Годней вне зависимости от результата

При победе в обычной игре и наличии у вас предмета «Frost Avalanche».

При победе в обычной игре и наличии у любого союзника предмета «Frost Avalanche».

The International 7 power rankings – Evil Geniuses, Team Liquid on top

On Wednesday, eighteen teams will begin a quest for the lion’s share of a $23,249,026 prize pool (at the time of this writing) at Dota 2’s The International 7. Not every team is created equal, and some come in with more firepower than others, so we’ve power ranked the contenders.

Editor’s Picks

LoL Gauntletology 101: The LCK’s six-man race

League of Legends global power rankings through Aug. 1

The cream of the crop

1. Evil Geniuses

The powerhouse from North American tops the list of rankings as the favorite for the tournament. The experienced lineup boasts two former TI winners in Sumail “SumaiL” Hassan and Saahil “UNiVeRsE” Arora and some of the best individual skill on the planet. Its strengths are numerous, but lane dominance and a strong hero pool are the team’s signature traits.

Will Team Liquid finally take the biggest step in professional Dota 2 and raise the Aegis? This is the most consistent top-placing team in the world, but the victories are lacking. The talent is certainly there; the addition, and growing pains, of Maroun “GH” Merhej was worth the transition. It’s up to the team’s performance to finish the prediction.

The strongest Chinese team in the field is also one of the best threats to take the championship. It is one of the best teams in terms of map control and extending to the late game through stellar defense and team fight execution. With such a strong identity, it will be tough for other teams to deter this well-oiled lineup.

The best from the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) will look to make plenty of noise at TI. Behind some of the best individual mechanical skill in the world from its star players Ilya “Lil” Ilyuk and Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev, and a penchant for difficult team fighting execution, this is a team that can never be counted out regardless of situation.

The book is out on OG, and every team already read the chapters. The green team will not surprise anyone with a deep tournament finish, but it will not surprise any team either. OG is a lane-dominant, rotation-heavy, and well-coordinated team. It does every little thing in Dota 2 well, but not at an elite level — that may spell trouble for a run at a championship title.

The middle of the pack

Damien “kpii” Chok of team Newbee smiles after winning the first game against OG during the winner’s bracket final at TI6. Linus Escandor II for ESPN

Newbee is the dark horse to take it all down. From top-to-bottom, this is a frightening lineup to face. Whether it’s the core duo of Xu “Moogy” Han and Song “Sccc” Chun and their ability to absolutely take over a game with any semblance of resource, or the reliable backbone of the team, Zeng “Faith” Hongda, this team can run through the entire tournament.

7. Invictus Gaming

It’s the yearly, ‘will Xu “BurNIng” Zhilei finally take a TI?’ question. Invictus Gaming is a team with inconsistent showings at major tournaments, but immense talent and star power that rivals even the top of this list. This is the team with all the narratives without all the tournament pressures that come from being an elite lineup.

Team Secret are the masters of flex-picking and drafting unique lineups to complement its all-star roster. Mostly the team revolves around its incredible duo of Pyo “MP” No-a and Yeik “MidOne” Nai Zheng. If both of the stars get any momentum, the victory is all but a guarantee.

9. LGD. Forever Young

The game plan for LGD. Forever Young is very simple — snowball lane advantage with two strong scaling cores into a five-man death ball march into victory. It’s basic DOTA at its finest and few do it better than the lineup of LGD. Forever Young. The issue with linear
game plans is whether or not a team can execute its lane presence better or if the opposing draft is better.

Many will pin Cloud 9 as the true dark horse of the tournament due to the lineup’s volatile nature to either run through the competition in blitzkrieg manner or implode and lose immediately. Even with the solid foundation of Kurtis “AUI_2000” Ling and Adrian “FATA-” Trinks, this may be a team that will run into plenty of issues in terms of consistency.

Dota 2 Workshop – Color Texture Light Baking

This gu >olor texture from a high resolution sculpted source and applying it to the low resolution in-game asset.

DEFINING COLOR

  • Dota 2’s in-game lighting is quite subtle and as a result we tend to lose a lot of the sculptural detail in the character’s normal maps.
  • We offset this by baking – or painting – the light into the color texture.

AMBIENT OCCLUSION

Start with the predominant color of the character

Bake an ambient occlusion map (AO Map) of the model.

Multiply the ambient occlusion layer on top of the base color at an 80% opacity.

POINT LIGHT MAP

  • Place a couple of simple white point lights in your scene and render out a light map.
  • You don’t want ambient occlusion in this light pass, just pure point light information, preferably with a material that captures specular highlights.
  • Turn off projected shadows. Typically, multiple point light maps are baked with lights in various positions then blended in Photoshop into one map for more precise control.
  • The point light map captures more sculptural information than is possible with a pure AO map.
  • We bake this map separately from the AO as we want to control the two elements differently.
  • The point light map also gives you a good starting point to introduce your top-to-bottom, light-to-dark gradient.
  • Clamp the shadows so they don’t darken the base map unnecessarily.
  • A 90 90 90 (RGB) screen layer at 85% opacity on top of the point light map is a good place to start.
  • You can group these two layers together to make them easier to blend onto the base map.
  • The point light group is layered above the AO map.
  • Set the point light group’s blending mode to 100% soft light.
  • This constitutes the ‘underpainting’ of the texture. Because we have a strong sculptural base to the texture we don’t need to paint too much in the way of lighting and shadow information.

COLOR MAP

The majority of the painting is done in the color layers.

The color group is blended on top of other layers in overlay mode at 80% opacity.

  • Dota 2 has a very bright and intense palette with lots of saturated colors. Layers with certain blend modes can blow out the palette into unusual colors, so it’s worth clamping shadows and highlights to avoid excessive contrast. How aggressively you do this is best determined on a per character basis.
  • For this character the color layer group was duplicated and given a blending mode of lighten at 30% opacity.

The color layer group was duplicated again and given a blending mode of darken at 50% opacity. This allows the shadows and highlights to be controlled independently.

GRAPHIC PATTERNS

  • Most of Dota’s characters have large crisp graphic patterns to aid legibility.
  • These patterns can be blocked in loosely on the initial rough texture then later enhanced by a masked color layer.
  • A layer mask is created using the lasso tool.
  • Then color is painted on to sharpen edges and make colors more consistent.

Color is loosely painted inside the layer mask to preserve a sharp edge to the design. The blending mode is set to normal at 80% opacity.

FINAL ADJUSTMENTS

Make final adjustments to details like the eye highlights, improve the value gradient overall, and adjust the saturation.

This color texture is now perfectly synched to all of the details in the normal map.

Step by Step Tutorial for creating and joining a custom game lobby in Dota 2:

How to create a Dota 2 Custom Game?

  • Open Dota 2 and click on the button “Play Dota”.
  • Now choose the tab Custom Lobbies and click on “Create”
  • Your Dota 2 custom game lobby will automatically be created. You can click on the edit wheel button on the bottom to change the name of the lobby.
  • Invite your friends and tell everyone the gamename.
  • As soon as the slots are full you can start the game!
  • To get to know all lobby options view our instructions below in this article!

How to join a Dota 2 Custom Game?

  • Click on the Play Dota button and choose “Custom Games”.
  • Now the Dota 2 lobbies of your friendlist will be displayed, if not check if “Browse by” is set to Friend Lobbies.
  • Join the lobby.
  • Choose your team by clicking on a slot.

Below you can find all the custom game lobby options and features explained in detail. 😉

What are Dota 2 Custom Games?

Besides playing a matchmaking or normal match, Dota 2 also allows creating custom game lobbyies, where you can play with bots and friends.
These matches can not be ranked matches and are not as balanced as official matches, it’s up to the host to create a great balance, it can help using the balance button. Dota 2 custom games are often used for clanwars and leagues like the Join-Dota-League, but of course you can also host matches to play against bots and above all for the reason to play Dota 2 offline if you have no internet connection!

All Dota 2 Custom Game Lobby Settings explained:

If you are the host of a Dota 2 lobby you have the following options:

  • First of all on top of the sidebar, two divisions will appear radiant and dire. Select the side!
  • Below the team separation, a Dota coaching column will appear. If there are more than 5 players in a team, then they can act as a coach and guide the team.
  • Below the Coaching column, two options will appear: Balanced shuffle and swap team. Balanced shuffle will create an equal level team.
  • To open the settings for the Dota 2 lobby, simply click on the wheel at the bottom! This settings window will appear:
  • Six options will appear: Game name (Name of the lobby), Game Mode (Mid only, Three Lanes etc.), Lobby Password (To avoid getting random players in a team, Server Location (Local Host), Lobby Visibility (Visible to Public or not) and Enable Cheats.
  • Below these six options, there is an advance lobby setting option. It is not necessary to make changes in that option.
  • Some Dota 2 players like to broadcast their match. If you want to do the same thing below Balanced shuffle and swap team. There is an option toggle Broadcast Channel. Click on it and select the desired channel.

Which Custom Game Modes are available for Dota 2 Lobbys?

If you click on the Play Dota button, many different custom game options are available, let’s have a look which custom game mode you can play and what it is for! When choosing a mode like practising with bots, you even have the option to play it solor or as a co-op! Both are a subcategory of Practice with bots, but they are entirely different from each other. Both methods have a crucial role because one mode can make a Dota 2 player face five abandons. Let us discuss both categories briefly! 😉

  • Lobby for Friends & Clanwars
  • Practice with Bots (Solo Mode)
  • Practice with Bots (CO-OP Mode)

1. How to play a Dota 2 Clanwar with a custom game lobby:

Besides playing with friends the custom game lobby is also perfect for leagues, Dota 2 pro matches and custom tournaments from third-party websites:
A team of five people can sign up for a tournament or league and when the event starts, you will get the password. Now just click on the browse custom games button and search for the lobby, it can be password protected so that no one will join who is unwanted! 😉

2. How can I play Dota 2 offline with Bots?

The “solo mode” on the Practice with bots tab, is usually utilized by those players who want to improve their gaming skills. Most pro players use it to enhance their strategies to defeat the enemy team.
Beginner players mostly use the solo mode to improve their abilities or to check out all the heroes and their characteristics. A solo mode is also a life-saving option for die-hard fans of Dota 2 who wants to play Dota all the time but they cannot play because of a wooden PC or crappy internet connection. 😉 The solo mode can be played offline and it can be left anywhere anytime. Keep in mind that you have to log into Steam with an active internet connection every two weeks or your account will be blocked temporarily.

The solo mode has multiple options in it. First of all, select the bot script: Default Bot, Ranked matchmaking AI, and check workshop.
Then select the difficulty level of the bots according to your gaming skills. If you are a noob go for Passive or Easy bots otherwise Unfair bots will beat your ass. Then select the desired team: Radiant, В Dire, or random.

3. What is the Dota 2 Bot “CO-OP” mode for?

The CO-OP mode is the perfect training area for friends and teammates, here you can train specific tactics, hero combos, lanes and item synergies which are too risky to play directly in matchmaking games. A super cool way of doing this is to search for new Dota 2 tactics and laning styles and to test it in CO-OP mode. Do it again and again until it is perfect, and then join the matchmaking games to stomp the enemies with the crazy new tactic. To give an example you can search for tactics how to make Roshan after a few minutes with two or three people! 😉

The Co-op mode in Practice with bots is also for those players who have penalty games. Abandons are maybe the most irritating feature of Dota 2: However, it is also necessary to reduce trolling players from servers. Co-op mode is almost like matchmaking but a little bit different. In Co-op, your allies are real gamers, but your enemies are bots.

Rest of the features are like Solo mode, the same options will appear: Select the script, select the difficulty level, and select team!

But keep in mind here to not leave the game until it ends! Otherwise, you will receive a gift from Gaben again! 😀 Select the level of difficulty to easy or passive because it will increase the chances of winning. If your rank is good and it still gets hard even to beat passive bots then it is better for you to stay in low-polarity! 😉

Sometimes it gets necessary to increase the win-rate: For this, it can also be efficient to use the Co-op mode! In Co-op mode, your win is in your hands. The more paper bots a player will select the high chances of winning it has.

We were round baling with the 2-105 and when we hit the brakes to stop and wrap the bale, the PTO kicks off. We have had to hold the PTO lever when ever we use the brakes to stop the tractor. Any thoughts as to why this is happening and what we should trouble shoot to fix this? Thanks.

If I remember correctly, the PTO on those is designed to shut off if it looses hydraulic pressure (so it isn’t accidentally on when you start the tractor). I wonder if your hydraulic pressure is weak or something is messed up in the brakes that is making a sudden and substantial drop in hydraulic pressure.

You need to check the pressure at the pto valve on the back of the tractor. Fab up a gage to go inline it should be 240 PSI. Mine was doing this exact thing yours is. I ended up shimming the valve to get the pressure up.

My 1975 2-105 has been that way since new , February 1975, dealer was never able to fix it, but I survived, hay mower, spray pump, white corn planter, tied in gear , any thing PTO operated except JD 510 baler. Still use it today.

Thanks for the feedback. We found we had a leaking line which caused low fluid level. Repaired line, shimmed the valve also( the spring seemed weak),filled up with fluid and fired up tractor. Ran PTO while turning the steering wheel rapidly with the brakes on. No issues, PTO kept running while steering and brakes were used. Hopefully, this is the last of our hydraulic problems with this tractor. Valves on both outlets have been rebuilt, new seals on PTO and pump installed and now this.

Got the 105 running this morning after sitting all winter. Started working up ground. Ran good all day. All of a sudden-no steering. Hydraulic outlets worked OK. I could raise and lower the disc as normal. Brakes were good and PTO started and stopped as it should. Hydraulic reservoir was full but the fluid burped out the opening when I checked it after unhooking and shutting tractor down. Fluid seemed hot too.
Any ideas as to what to check? Also, noticed a clicking sound coming from the pump instead of its usual whine. Would the pump getting weak and making the fluid hot cause the steering motor to act up? Any ideas would be appreciated.
I have had a lot of issues with the hydraulics on this tractor – replaced all seals on PTO and pump and rebuilt the outlet valves too. Finally stopped losing fluid and had full pressure for the slave cylinders. Thought my problems were over, now this!
Thanks.

Have you ever went through the pressure control valve on the left side of the tractor just below the pump ? It contains a high pressure relief valve, a pressure reducing valve for the PTO and brakes , a priority valve to give hyd. flow to the steering and an unloader valve. There are O-rings in there that can be bad allowing oil to bypass creating heat, your priority valve could be stuck . The pump clicking does not sound good for the pump. If the pump is bad going through the pressure control valve is a must since that is the first place metal from the pump ends up. Does the steering wheel turn freely or is it very hard to turn ?

2 stroke, That is the same symptoms my neighbors 2-105 has. He had the AGCO mechanic yesterday to trouble shoot since the rebuilt pump and rebuilt PTO didn’t fix it. My neighbor bought the 2-105 fairly cheap but its adding up fast now. The mechanic told him exactly what you said and hopefully it will be working soon.

Pump is trash. Now ordering new replacement (heavier design that came out on the Red Stripe series Whites) with a conversion kit. Now concerned about metal in the rest of the system, especially the Char – Lynn steering motor. Got my fingers crossed.
Thanks for the advice.

Dota 2 razor anti carry on lyrics

Dota 2 razor anti carry on lyrics

Dota 2 razor anti carry on lyrics

Analyzing 7.07 Top Tier Carries

7.07 seems to have empowered carries more than ever, with classic hard carries, such as Anti-Mage, Morphling, and Medusa resurfacing. The creep equilibrium, as well as xp changes to creeps, makes it much easier to outlane the enemy offlaner and to deny xp. With Shrines pushed back further into the jungle, teams can’t play as aggressively into the enemy jungle as before.

In the last part of our Top Tier series, we take a look at the carry position and heroes that continue to excel in 7.07, both in pub and pro play.

Anti-Mage

Whenever a big balance patch comes around, pub players do a pretty good job of exploiting the strengths of a hero or two. These heroes tend to stick out like a sore thumb and will generally be nerfed in subsequent patches. For 7.07, one of those heroes was Anti-Mage.

Within a week, Anti-Mage went from a 49% win rate across all brackets to 55%, while his pick rate increased by 9% to 29% overall. Pub players realized that AM was incredibly strong, potentially too strong. With safelaners being more difficult to contest, a slightly cheaper Battle Fury and a new talent, Anti-Mage felt incredibly strong.

Since then, the new talent has been pushed to level 20. On top of that, Blink’s cooldown has been decreased by a second at level 4, and the new level 15 talents force Anti-Mage to choose between either a Blink cooldown reduction or 15 additional Agility.

The hero has been appropriately nerfed and is back to a 49% win rate, but he’s still a top tier pick, in the right situation. And as heroes like Medusa and Storm Spirit gain in popularity, Anti-Mage becomes more and more situational.

Spectre

For a while now, Spectre has had a very high win rate (

55%) in pubs. She is difficult to kill and doesn’t need to play much with the team. Her split-push is annoying to deal with and she can join any teamfight at a moment’s notice. Her new talents also allow her to scale better than before, and by level 25 you might end up killing yourself before killing her.

Much like any other split pusher, Spectre thrives in chaos, but she can be more engaged with her team if need be, something that other split pushers can’t do. Spectre can come in for an easy kill and the popular Urn of Shadows build has become even better now that the item can be built into a Spirit Vessel, which has components that further help Spectre.

She is not nearly as popular in pro games as she is in pubs, as she generally doesn’t want to group up or siege towers at all. Even in pubs she isn’t exactly among the popular crowd (only 7% pick rate overall), but when she is a good pick, she really brings it home.

After his re-work, Tiny became one of the weakest heroes in the game and was in dire need of buffs. Icefrog obliged and addressed several issues, so much so that Tiny became too strong and had to be adjusted again. Since 7.07c, Tiny has been in a good place. While his pub win rate may not reflect that (46%), pro players have taken a liking to the hero. The new ability allows Tiny to farm ancients much quicker and earlier than before. In general, the hero seems to come online much quicker without relying on a Blink Dagger and has a lot of kill potential in lane. He also doesn’t have to invest much into defensive items with the increased Status Resistance.

Tiny lanes well against most melee heroes and can even hold his own against ranged carries. More on Tiny in our Tiny blogpost.

Chaos Knight

Chaos Knight became a top pick in the European and CIS meta shortly after TI. The hero proved to be an incredibly valuable pick up with early fighting and pushing potential. Only few carries have as much killing potential in lane as CK, and what he lacks in flash farming abilities he can make up with a Midas.

CK’s physical burst with Phantasm is near unparalleled, and he’s incredibly difficult to kill as time goes on with only few defensive items.

Medusa & Razor

Medusa and Razor are two rather popular and effective heroes at the moment, both in competitive play and pubs alike. One reason why these heroes are so strong is because of their laning flexibility. They can be played in virtually any lane, most notably mid and safelane. This allows pros and pubs to be more versatile during the draft, something that other carries don’t offer. More on these two heroes can be read up on in our Top Tier midlaners post.

Terrorblade

Terrorblade will often be a top carry. His natural skillset makes it difficult for players to kill him without a certain amount of coordination or hard lockdown, and his pushing power will always make him a situational pick. He also doesn’t take as long to come online, a quality that sets him apart from other illusion based heroes who generally rely on the likes of Radiance and/or Octarine to shine.

The most flexible role

For a while now, carries have taken a backseat in a lot of ways. With a large overlap in heroes with midlaners, carries/safelane heroes have become more sacrificial in the pro meta, which is why there’s rarely a dedicated safelane hero among the most picked heroes at any event.

Something New

A Dota 2 Debt Trackers Reveals Thousands In Unpa >Exploitation of esports participants is nothing new, since many of the participants are often young and lack real-world experience.

  • by Patrick Kobek
  • Sep 13, 2019

Although Dota 2 remains a massive draw for esports, with a prize pool in 2019 of over $34 million, payouts to winning teams are still slow to process. In some cases, though, the payouts simply never come – even years after an event.

Exploitation of esports participants is nothing new, since many of the participants are often young and lack real-world experience. Luckily, one individual has decided to create an online form, viewable by all, to track all delinquent payments in an effort to raise awareness and hopefully have some of these individuals finally receive what is owed.

Ben “Noxville” Steenhuisen tweeted on September 7 his intention to start the document and has since added numerous participants. According to Noxville, “The document is merely a tracker of public financial claims by individual(s) against an organization/events. Only claims over US $250 will be shown, and only claims relaed to Dota 2 (this could include a new org joining the Dota 2 scene with existing claims from other titles)…Any counter-claims by alleged debtors will be displayed alongside the original claims. Both parties are able to provide whatever evidence they want to (publicly) and it’ll be listed there.”

Saw some of the posts by @KheZu, @thisisallencook, @scantzor and @ReinessaGaming about orgs/events not paying them in the Dota 2 scene, and I’m also affected by this.

As a result decided to make an open Dota 2 Debts Tracker. https://t. co/q5PWtrvsLR

Noxville is a South African Dota 2 statsman who works on in-game statistics, production statistics, and talent preparation for events that include The International 2015, The Frankfurt Major and the Manila Major. Currently he works as a software developer at an esports analytics company.

People may be surprised to read of so many delinquent accounts in the document as esports has seen nothing but continual growth over the years. Some consider the first competitive video game to have been Starcraft in 1998 which had a total of $7.8 million awarded in prize mostly across hundreds of esports tournaments. Compared to 2018, which awarded $155.9 million, the beginning seems almost minuscule in its prize money.

With all that money, why are there so many prize pools being withheld years after an event? We cannot speak on the specifics of any of these cases, but there are a few general points that can add to the time it takes to make a payout. First, many of these events take place outside of a competitor’s country of origin. Proper care is needed to ensure taxes are properly paid, and to avoid being taxed twice.

In other cases, an organizer may be waiting to collect all the promised funds from sponsors before paying competitors, because if the total comes up short, some may be paid more than others.

Still, it’s not a promising sight when one sees that many of the tournaments listed as owing prize money are reputable and sanctioned by such large organizations as Valve. The Global Electronic Sports Championship (GESC) is one of the largest tournament organizers for Dota 2 in the world, and a quick tally of their owed funds comes in at over half a million dollars. Esports may be growing but there appears to be little consideration for the players who make up the heart of the competition.

So, what can players do about this? Unfortunately, there is little that can be done outside of doing one’s best to find reputable partners to work with and have contracts clearly stipulate how prize money is shared, and when it is paid out. Of course, many of these recommendations may have been followed, but the problem persist as we’re talking about organizers of some of the most well-known organizations around engaging in this shoddy behavior.

For now, Noxville is leading the charge in naming and shaming the organizations who are not paying their players what is owed. Hopefully, that’s enough to bring about some real change in the future.

The cursor is extremely small on 3k and 4k resolution display making it impossible to use skills and right click accurately since it blends in with the skill effects etc. during team fights. It’s a lot bigger in Dota 2 Source 1.

Can you post your Steam system info? Cursor scaling should work on Windows, mostly on Linux and not on OSX.

Above is the example of how small the cursor is. I don’t know why it says below in the Steam system info that my resolution is 1440×810 because it is actually 2880×1620 and I’m using 200% scaling for texts, apps, etc in Windows display settings to increase my text size.

It’s possible Steam isn’t marked as DPI-aware so Windows is lying to Steam. Does Reborn show the proper monitor resolution in the video settings?

As this isn’t a Mac or Linux issue this should go in the regular forums. I’ll leave it open for a bit to gather info.

I couldn’t find a forum on github for the regular Dota 2 Reborn. I tried registering for the forum on dev. dota2.com and it gives me a “database error” and trying to sign in with that account, the system says I’d been banned for “No specified reason”. Is it possible for you to pass on this information to the Windows team as Reborn is going to be the main client in a few weeks and this issue is really important to a lot of people with high dpi screens?

I’d like a review of this issue, since I have a linux machine with 2880×1620 res and the cursor is the size of the head of a ranged creep, just like image posted already.
In fact, the cursor shown throughout the UI is bigger than that shown ingame for some reason.

Introduction

Welcome to my second guide on DOTAFire. This time the guides main atraction will be Centaur Warchief. I may be not that good at the game, english is not my primary language(mistakes may be involved in the writting of this guide),but I hope you will be reasonable and accept.

Without further due, let’s get on with this gu >

Summary

He’s a tank with a dissable, that can take a lot of punishment but gets countered by N’aix and any other percentage based nukes.

Can gank good enough but needs a buddy to do so and gank properly. Post dagger its not problem.

Centaur Warchief-Who and what is he?

Centaur Warchief is a melee strength hero that can take a lot of punishment, can initiate by the way of his ultimate ability Stampede, initiate team fights with his AoE stun Hoof Stomp and lead early game ganks by the way of Double Edge .

He scales very well through the game and he is able to counter many right-click carries by the way of Return .

Pros and Cons

Pros: Scales well through the game
Has an AoE stun and a mini-stun that can be used to cancel teleports
Can take a lot of punishment
Can initiate, tank and survive even the longest teamfights
Naturally counters right click carries
Only one skill that requoires mana
Needs no steed

Cons: He’s slow
Very beefy but has natural counters that easily kill him( Lifestealer )

Melee
Hard to place stun
No innate escape mechanism
Awkward casting animation

Skill Analysis

Centaur hits the ground resulting in a 2.75 seconds of AoE stun. The mana cost is very low for an AoE stun move(130)and has a nice duration.

The cooldown in the skill is a tad long,13 seconds, however it has a 3 seconds duration so its actually a 10 seconds cooldown. The real problem with the skill is landing it because of the awkward animation and the skill being centered on Centaur Warchief.

A good nuke that deals 400 damage at level 4 but also damages our half-horse half-man here. Luckily we can get a Hood of Defiance to reduce the damage received and further boost our insane HP regeneration. It doesn’t have a mana cost and can cancel teleports due to the ministun on the skill.

The cooldown is short at 8 seconds, however to land the skill, you need to be close to your opponent.

Ah yes, good old permanent blademail. Centaur returns damage he receives from autoclickers based on a base value+percentage of strength. The skill is passive so its very good.

The damage is applied when the attack starts, not when the attack hits(much like with Viper ‘s Corrosive Skin .

Ah yes, a very good ultimate. The warchief bursts out in speed, charging towards enemies, while stunning and damaging them too. The damage is a wee low, 100/150/200 +2x your STR. Each enemy can get affected only once by the ability. A great initiation tool for likes of initiators( Enigma , Tidehunter and even Magnataur)

Item Build

The item build on this sucker is pretty straight forward:You need to be beefy and soak up damage for the team. Even if you die, you know that your carry did his job by you doing yours.

That is why we will empathise on a bulky build using Vanguard and Hood of Defiance (optionally getting a Pipe of Insight )

Quickly after those are done, get the Blink Dagger, that will help you with ganking issues.

Later in the game, you chose from a variety of items like: Assault Cuirass , Radiance , Heart of Tarrasque , Shiva’s Guard , Heaven’s Halberd. Although not many people would agree getting Heaven’s Halberd ,(people need to attack you for you to function well),it still has a great use if you are not that beefy as expected. Blademail can also be a good option if you like being alone amids 5 of the enemies, baiting out for 5 seconds afterwards calling your team.

My boots of preference would be Phase Boots, it gives a burst of movement speed for positioning and some extra right click damage.

Eye of Skadi is a good pick on every hero, and makes no exception on Centaur Warchief, for keeping enemies close up and personal.

Ganking

Centaur Warchief has some problems ganking alone before the dagger is purchased, thats why early game you should gank with a buddy. Post dagger this flaw is surpressed and can stun reliably.

In ganks you should start off with the stun, then whack the opponent while it stunned. After the stun is over, use Double Edge .

Friends and Foes

Friends: Vengeful Spirit , Crystal Maiden , Earthshaker , Warlock , Sven , Naga Siren , Lion, basicly anyone who can help him setup his stun.

Special mention:Tuskarr:Let the Ganking galore begin!
This guy gives you everything you need:Positioning, holding up the enemies close and a good way of initiating. You just roll in with Snowball, using Ice Shards, stun with Hoof Stomp then bodyblocking the enemy ins > Double Edge only if necesary.

Enemies: Terrorblade, Necrolyte, Zeus , Enigma , Huskar , Slardar , Templar Assassin, basicly people that have percentage based spells and armor reducing.

Special mention: Lifestealer :Your. Worst. Nightmare.
I cannot stress enough on how this guy will wreck your game. As you get beefier, he will just deal more damage. Do not dare to pick Centaur against this bad boy or I will personally deliver a 4-muscle-extending *****slap towards your face.

Conclusion

The second guide ever of my life. I hope you will enjoy the guide, also feedback and other ideas on improving the guide are much apreciated(tips on BB code, arrangement in page etc.)

And remember, let them feel the power of your hoofs.
