3. from ************ [Nick] Cambia [Nick] por un nombre (escrito sin errores) y te muestra la nacionalidad del jugador, tambien se puede usar $[color] cambia [color] por el color donde esta el player q queres saber la nacionalidad y listo. Mismo procedimiento con /ping
4. pingall *********** Muestra el ping entre vos y las personas del juego en el q estas t/o quiere decir Timed Out o q no se pudo sacar el ping de la persona (no quiere decir q tenga demasiado ping)
5. ban [Nick] ************[Comment] nick ya saben, comment es para q lo banee con otro coment q no sea el default (is on local banlist).
6. banlast ************ Banea al ultimo quiter.

Im jsut asking this because a friend of mine just told me he ses macros with meepo and that they are not banneable, we were discussing about dota being skill based or not and he brought the argument of people using macros to defend his point that dota requires no skill whatsoever and i said macros are prohibited BUT i cant find any info related to this matter, official info, so im just gonna ask here since this is the dev forums.

Meepo macros can be done by using the Dota 2 config and are not bannable in that case. By the way, this is not official, just that AFAIK Valve never banned for using the config.

Macros are not bannable. Sadly, Valve allows Meepo poof scripts and other garbage.

Then again i would like to know what is the “other garbage” you mention, may aswell know the full package of BS.

Well it’s pretty much that. These two things are definetly not bannable and are allowed:
1) Macros, done with official keyboard/mouse software.
2) Configs, like meepo blink+poof scripts (if you ever seen insane meepos who insta-poof on you, that’s it).

This is a gray zone, some people use it without bans:
3) Some automation software, though rumors say they started banning for it, but I’ve seen people with over 1600 hours who still use it. I don’t remember the exact functionality, just seen it on some script-kiddie’s forums.

This is bannable, though not all cheats are detected:
4) Real cheats. People complain about being hexed by a player after they blink in, without him even moving his cursor.

Third party programs (that interfere with your mouse and keyboard) still have a “wait”-equivalent command. But people have been banned for using them in other Source games (CS:GO and TF2) when they were abusing it (spamming a key, bhopping, reversing spray pattern, . ). If you are using those programs to e. g. disable Windows key or to rebind some keys you won’t be banned.

Also your friend is a dumb if he thinks macroes is all he needs to be successful with a hero. Or if Dota 2 isn’t a skill based game. There is this one guy who has a meepo script guide on Steam, majority of times plays Meepo and he has 3200 MMR.

I actually dont play meepo i dont like multi unit heroes, i play a lot with invoker though and he said that i could benefit from using macros with him. but honestly i have many many hours with invoker and i dont see where i could benefit from using one, with that many spells and possible combinations or uses/scenarios i cant just do a macro that does some stuff in one particular order because that would make me a 1 trick pony invoker, not to mention that all of the difficult comboes including the refresher i know how to do them without the need of that so i really dont think any of that would help me, so in the end i agree with you saying that is better just to leanr without that BS.

Introduction

Davion (Dragon Knight) is a carry. Stop thinking of him as a tank just because he has a shield and a nice E.

Ever received a shield in the face? **** hurts.

So yeah, this guide is to teach you how to **** **** up with Dragon Knight, how to shield bash ****s like EVERYONE AGAINST YOU. I say shield bash, but what I really mean is barbecuing them to a nice, crispy BLACK MOUND OF ASHES.

Davion is a crazy carry because:

– His Q is ******ed.
– His W is useful.
– His E keeps him in lane.
– His R makes your grandmother miss her early 20s.

Opening

Here’s what you start with. Tangos because you don’t get your E right away (and if you do, just put your face in an oven and toast.) Now, three branches and a magic stick means I want you to make a magic wand. Why? Because it’s OP, that’s why.

Get this ASAP

If your lane opponents spam their spells (lol) or if they have spammable spells that costs like 5 mana (x2lol), you will never leave your lane. Ever. The stick is pretty useful, and the wand is even stronger. So thank your support for buying a courier at the start of the game and get that recipe ASAP

So you can be faster than a snail. Also slapping those ants’ *** as you drive by them.

Time to put on the pain helm

See this? This is why you are a carry. Life-steal makes you the rape machine that you can be. Your lifesteal + Magic Wand makes you an unstoppable force (unless, like, 3v1 ganks, which shouldn’t happen because your team calls MIA and you’re not ******ed enough to push your lane past the river when they’re all MIA). Add the bonus of hooking yourself up with a second stun (Minotaurs) and you’re good to go.

PS.: If you can’t micro for ****, don’t get the Minotaur.

OPTIONAL

This is a touchy subject. If your team understands you need to farm like a madman ( ), you can get this and basically have all the farm you can ever need. The only problem is that it’s costy as **** and you might just simply not need it. But if the opposing team is ******ed and let you free farm, might as well get it.

And even then, your Lvl 2 ult gives you splash. So while it may be – good-, it’s certainly not something you absolutely need.

I REPEAT, BATTLEFURY = OPTIONAL.

On with the Rape Train

Here’s some maths. More hits = more lifesteal. Attack speed = more hits. So it’s only logical to get the Hyperstone. SWOOSH SWOOSH with that sword.

This is a great item on Davion. Extra strength, which means extra HP and HP regen. Sometimes you’ll want it on simply because you have 800 HP when activated, but only 400-ish when deactivated. Who gives a **** if it drains HP, your pool is higher than having it off. Extra attack speed again, which is still tits. Then +HP and +damage. Always good.

REMOVE THE BRAKES

BKB: To rape dem stunnarz
Satanic: More Strength = more HP, more Damage, more Regen. More lifesteal = Lol. More armor = why not.
Daedalus: If you’re going to hit like Kenshiro, you might as well double that damage once or twice.

Basically why you can rape people early on. First of all, you breathe **********ing fire. Then, you deal an absurd amount of damage in an aoe. That’s why you max this ASAP. At lvl 7-ish, nothing enjoys a good 300 damage shaved off their HP bar.

Dragon Tail

Key Bind: W

Dragon Knight smites an enemy unit in melee range with his shield, stunning it while dealing minor damage.
Range: 150
Stun Duration: 2.5 / 2.75 / 3 / 3.25
Damage: 25 / 50 / 75 / 100

Mana Cost: 100 Cooldown Time: 9

Very useful, as any stuns, but not worth putting more than one point. You only put more points in the late game, after lvl 16, because longer stuns are more impoortant.

Dragon Blood

Key Bind: E (PASSIVE)

The life blood of the Dragon improves health regeneration and strengthens armor.
Health Regen: 2 / 3 / 4 / 5
Armor: 2 / 4 / 6 / 8

Keeps you in lane longer after you max out Breathe Fire. Because they will certainly see the danger you represent and might try to gank you, so it’s useful to have extra armor. You put only one point in it at the start because the extra regen helps you avoid wasting a Tango.

Elder Dragon Form

Dragon Knight can take the form of three powerful elder dragons.
Level 1 – Green Dragon: Short poison damage over time on attack.
Level 2 – Red Dragon: Splash damage on attack.
Level 3 – Blue Dragon: Splash damage and slowness on attack.

Oh boy oh boy. This is what makes you a carry. Gives you range (****ing amazing), gives you poison attacks at lvl 1 (#1 for lane), gives you splash damage at lvl 2 (#1 for teamfights) and a splash + slow on lvl 3 (see lvl2). Lvl 3 is basically a free Skadi. And everyone loves a free Skadi.

Magic Resistance is an attribute of heroes that reduces Magical damage by a percentage. Heroes can increase their magic resistance with Strength , items, and spells. As seen in the formula above, magic resistance is calculated multiplicatively. Magic resistance items may also stack with each other the same way. It also means that 100% magic resistance buffs cannot be reduced.
Magical damage can also be amplified, and is also multiplicative.

Example: Crystal Maiden on level 12 is ethereal and under the effect of Veil of Discord’s Magic Weakness:

Magic Shield [ edit ]

A magic shield absorbs a set amount of magical damage. This mechanic works independently from magic resistance, and the damage absorption occurs before reductions. Does not absorb physical or pure damage. If the unit is spell immune, it will not absorb any damage.

Multiple magic shields do not stack. They are all used up by the same damage instance. This means it is the most effective to use only a single magic shield at a time.

10 Useful Tips to Farm Fast in Dota 2

Farming is extremely necessary in Dota 2 even if you are a carry or just an offlane support. However, it is extremely necessary for carries to farm fast to get some considerable edge/benefit in the game. But a farmed support does not hurt too. Farming of carries and farming of support are 2 entirely different things, which I will cover in another article some other time. Here I am just going to explain how can you farm fast and good.

Remember: Dota 2 game is not about Farming ONLY, it’s about winning.

1. Don’t Die

Dying means you waste your farmed gold and give to your enemy thus creating a gold and experience difference. Learn how to play safe. BurNinG, one of the legendary carry and farmer, will always stay away from creeps if he doesn’t see the gankers on the map. He knows how crucial it is if you’ll be killed in the game. This also does not mean that you should stay hidden all the time. Farm in lanes and keep your eyes on the map, if your enemies are missing from the map for more than 5-10 sec, it means, either they are coming to pick on you or they are at Roshan. In both the cases, you must think of your next move.

2. Practice Last Hitting

Practice will improve your timing when will you attack the creep that will guarantee sure gold. One way is playing in single player mode and try to have 100 creep kills (kills + deny) in 10 minutes. Doing this often will make you expert in last hitting thus a speedy farm in real games. Another practice can be playing against 5 Insane Bots. Bots are programmed to have perfect last hit and deny. If you can farm against 5 AI’s effectively, it would be easy for you to farm against most of the human players.

Last hitting tower will always give extra gold, which is enough to give you a considerable farming boost.

3. Cons >The moment your hero makes a move for attack and the moment your hero’s damage is dealt is known is hero attack animation. It can be slow (Like Dark Seer), Normal (Like most of the heroes) and Fast (Like Sniper, Faceless Void, Anti Mage etc).

So once you have a rough idea how is our heroes attack animation, you should attack the dying creep keeping your attack animation and your damage in mind. Most of the time, melee heroes are easier because you only need to observe their hitting animation while Range heroes need to consider their distance from the creep as well as animation of the attack.

4. Look at the Mage

One easy way to last hit effectively is looking at the mage. Among all the creeps fighting, the mage usually has the highest damage. The mage will hit the enemy creep in constant rate so it will be easy for you to decide when to attack. After the mage attacks and you know it’ll be one blow before the creep die, it’s time for you to click it. This is effective but in some cases, it’s not. Like when you have 2 or more mages, or you have a catapult that does more damage than the mage. In this case, you have to consider the rate of hp reduction of the creep.

5. Neutral Creeping for Extra Gold

Neutral Creeps gives you enough amount of gold that Enigma can farm a dagger in 8 minutes. Thus, on the average, neutral creeping can give you 268 gold in one minute. Neutral Creeping also gives you additional safety from gankers. If you have wards, it’ll be harder for you to be killed. But it is never advised to leave your lane empty for enemy and farm in Jungle because this will give free farm to enemy heroes.

6. Try to Dominate your Lane

If you dominate a lane, chances are you’ll get a good farming time because the enemy tries to stay away from you. If you are in tri-lane, harassing can be done by your supports using normal attacks or using / casting spells and in meanwhile, carries can farm easily. In the same process, if you guess the enemy has low HP, you can also try to secure a kill to earn extra gold.

In case you are in a solo lane or dual lane, you must use your spells wisely and must keep harassing the enemy.

7. Rune Control

Since 6.83 update, the importance of rune control has increased many folds. Because from now onward, runes will always spawn at both ends and out of which 1 will always be a bounty rune. Bounty rune will give you extra gold and experience. More time passes in a game, the more and experience you will get from bounty rune. Also, do not forget the renewed charges of your bottle with which you can farm more. So rune control is extremely important if you want to farm fast in Dota 2.

Also, successful bottling will negate the effect of enemy harassing and will help you stay in lane for more time. So do not forget to buy a bottle especially if you are in mid and occasionally when you are in any other lane.

8. Don’t Waste Gold

Wasting gold, like buying TP and using them to teleport on a tower but it’s not that urgent to use it. It will surely slow down the rate of your farming. For example, when enemy creeps are far away from your tower. You can walk to your tower and when you reach your tower chances are the enemy creeps are just reaching your tower along with you. You saved 50 gold from impatient teleportation. TP is vital to the game but you should use it wisely, like backing up a teammate / Team fight. You’ll need 2 creeps to farm 50 gold again. Thus you’ll be delayed in farming.

9. Use Your Skills Wisely

Don’t rely on spamming spells to farm. Spamming spells help you push not farm. Spam spells only when needed, like if you see a big wave of enemy creeps coming, then it is a good time to use your AOE spells, instead of using your precious AOE spells and killing only 1-2 creeps. Spamming AOE spells makes you go back to the fountain back and forth because you won’t have enough mana and if meanwhile, your team needs you, you may not be of that much use to your team because of low mana or your spell on cooldown.

10. Maximize your Map Reach

Maximize your map reach is important to have your luxury items. Burning(EH. Gigabyte. AAA), used to farm fast by moving all over the map. So we can say like this, “where there are creeps, there your farmer goes”. Do not forget to keep an eye on enemy heroes, or else you might be walking happily into an enemy trap. If you are not able to get any farm in your lane, switching your lane to a more comfortable lane is always a good idea. I find the Kill+Streak announcer sound to be of less impact in dota 2 rather than in regular dota. But in dota 2 it is just there, a bit subtle in the background. You don’t really get that nerdy smirk on your face when you recieve your “beyond godlike” as you do in Dota. This would be awesome. ATM the only sound with the bass literally distorting itself is the “ULTRA KILL” sounds, and it’s still not as epic as I’d like it to be. Maybe this should be optional though, in case people play DotA 2 at full volume and shit their pants when a sudden loud sound comes on (zeus’ ulti)

You should see manny blocks of text like this:

Change the “1” beside the “volume” to something higher, and see if it makes a difference. Probably use the find and replace function, and replace ( “volume” “1”) with ( “volume” “5”) or something. If you don’t want all the announcer voices to be louder, then you’ll have to manually find the one you want to change the volume to. I think killstreak announcers are towards the bottom of the file.

We will be getting announcer packs when it goes public F2P though.

Buy Compendium Points from Dota 2 Store:

If your pocket allows, buy as many compendium points from Dota 2 store as you can. Remember there is no upper limit for your compendium level. With this method you can earn unlimited levels for your TI5 compendium.

How much levels can you earn :

So with money, you can even take it to level 10,000 by spending almost $4,000 + So you can earn unlimited levels this way.

Complete Compendium Achievements:

There are around 25 achievements as of today. You complete those achievements and you get points which are mentioned below that achievements. Thanks to valve that they have included some more achievements in compendium in recent 14 may update.

But there is a problem, completing achievements get you only a limited amount of points. As of today, you can only get —– points by completing all of your achievements that means you can get only limited levels.

Completing Challenges:

There are different challenges given in compendium which needs to be completed during game. There is a compulsion, that you need to win game after completing your selected challenge. Once you win a game you earn a certain amount of reward after completing every challenge.

These challenges are very easy in start, then becomes moderate and later on as you complete more and more challenges, they become more and more difficult. It does not mean those can not be completed, but they need lots of team effort skill and game knowledge to complete.

For example, “Deal 1000 damage to heroes in 1 second”. Now people kept thinking bout heroes like Phantom Assassin, Wraith King for their critical strike or tinker with Ethereal blade and Level 5 Dagon, but remember guys it says “Heroes“, why don’t you take AOE spell casters and deal damage in AOE in 1 sec, like Queen of Pain ultimate to 2 heroes and this challenge is gone.

Heroes Challenge:

There are 2 different types of Hero Challenges which can earn you coins and Compendium points.

1. The Ten Hero Challenge gives all Compendium owners the chance to earn additional Compendium Levels by winning normal games with a selection of heroes. The Ten Hero Challenge can be completed up to three times with a different selection of heroes for a total of 450 points (4.5 Levels). Once you complete 10 heroes challenge once you get 150 Points, mean 1.5 levels. So after completing it 3 times, you get 450 points or 4.5 levels. each time you complete 10 hero challenge once, you get different heroes next time. You can also re-roll once in each 10 hero challenge, to change your heroes randomly.

1. All Compendium owners will now have an additional slot for hero-specific challenges in their list of in-game challenges, which will award both Compendium Coins and points toward Compendium Levels when completed.

After the latest update, now other than All Pick games, you can also complete Challenges in Captains Mode, Captains Draft, Random Draft, Single Draft, and All Random game modes.

Whenever you recycle any 10 items, you’ll earn 25 points toward a Compendium Level as well as a Charm of the Crucible Jewel II. There are also three Compendium Achievements for Charms to help you earn more Compendium Points.

You can recycle unlimited items for unlimited levels.

Consuming Item:

You can choose to consume any TI5 Compendium Immortal by right clicking on it in the Armory and choosing the Consume option. You’ll gain 200 Compendium Points (2 Levels) for each Immortal consumed this way. This option suits those players best who have high levels of immortals and they can easily consume some immortals they don’t like to increase level of their compendium.

You can also consume collector’s cache’s sets for 2 levels. Most of those sets are so awesome that you don’t want to consume them

How much levels can you earn :

You can consume unlimited items for unlimited levels.
