and I went to it and there is a video of someone using it. Please if dota 2 has maphack too, tell us. I am sick of maphackers in dota 1 thats why I am playing dota 2. If you cant fix this immediatly, then people should start playing another MOBA. Dota 2 is all about knowing the positions of your enemies, so with a maphack, this game is fucked.

Its fake there is no maphack possible in a “server side” game. Just like HoN or League of Legends its all serverside. Thread closed

That hack is the most useless trash I have ever seen. The only useful thing is seeing enemy mana bars. Nothing more. The partially working MH method it used got patched after 2 days or so.
As for the OP link, I have to give you some sad news. Watch the “so called video demonstration”. Pause the video at 3:51. Watch closely, while he is in the lobby, at the game server options in the middle column: “Cheats: YES”.
Yes, I crushed your dreams 😛 It’s faker than than a boob job.
Advice for the future: do some research and analyze things properly. Don’t believe everything you see without actually checking it from top to bottom. The reason that “hack” exists is so you can fill out the survey so he can get free money. Nothing more.
To the “maphack maker”: Sorry anonymous guy that was falsely advertising a useless product for spoiling the surprise 😛

This guide will explain how to create a stylized banner for your team in Dota 2.
Before we get started you are going to need a few tools so you can follow along with the guide.
You will need some form of image editor. In this guide I will be using Adobe Photoshop CS5 but other versions of the program should work just fine. You can use GIMP or PAINT. NET as a free alternative to Photoshop as well.
Additionally you are going to need the Dota 2 Banner Templates. You can create everything yourself from scratch but the Dota 2 team have created some pretty great starting points which we will be using in this tutorial.
You can find links to all of the necessary stuff below.
You have four separate spots for branding when you create a team. To edit your team logos navigate to the Community tab on the main menu within Dota 2. Once you are there you will be able to click on the My Teams tab and then choose Edit Logo located at the bottom of the pane.
Below is an explanation of each logo and where they will be placed within the game, along with their corresponding size requirements.
Team Interface Logo: This image will be used on the HUD, lobbies and so on. This image will be re-sized to 250 x 150 pixels. Below is where you will see this image in the game.
Team Sponsors: This image will be used to display team sponsorship on a Team Profile panel. It will be re-sized to 250 x 150 pixels. Below is where you will see this image in the game.
Team Base Logo: This logo will be used to decorate your in-game base. It will be re-sized to 256 x 256 pixels. Below is where you will see this image in the game.
Team Banner Logo: This logo will be placed on your in-game banners. It will be re-sized to 256 x 256 pixels. Below is where you will see this image in the game.
The primary focus of this gu >
Before we begin you will need to figure out what it is you want to use for your banners. In this tutorial I will be creating a fake team called “Tiny Cat”. I will be using images of my cat called Matilda, she’s cute.
If you’d like to follow along with this tutorial using the same images I use you can find them below.
Unlike other Source games, Dota 2 handles transparent images in a more native way. Instead of relying on Alpha Channels, Dota 2 is able to import a transparent PNG and have it read it in a way you would expect.
The Interface, Sponsor and Base Logo areas handle transparency normally. The only exception is the Banner Logo. Try to imagine that the banners have no background to them at all. If you imported a transparent image in to the game, the only areas that will render will be the visible parts of the image. In other words the image you are importing is not being layered on to something else, it just floats there.
When I import this image in to Dota 2 without any transparency all I get is a basic rectangle shape for my banner.
If I erase some areas of the image I start to form a different shape, notice that nothing is rendered in the transparent areas.
You’ll also probably notice that only half of the image is being shown. This is because when the image is imported in the game it is draped over a pole. The left side will be displayed from the front and the right side will be displayed from the back. With the default game camera you will primarily see the front side of the pole only. In other words you have 256 x 128 of usable space for the front, and 256 x 128 usable space for the back.
The Dota 2 team has provided some excellent starting points for creating team banners. They have included some basic shapes along with some nice textures which you can use to improve your banner and to make it look good within the game. If you don’t already have the team banner templates you can grab them here.
For this tutorial I will be using the template titled border_invertedarrow_00. Open up the image in Photoshop by going to File > Open and selecting the template.
With the template open the first thing we are going to do is create a new layer. You can do this by going to the Layers panel and selecting the Create New Layer option. I’ve highlighted this selection below.
Once you have created a new layer the next thing we are going to do is move it so it’s underneath the template. You can do this by selecting the layer on the panel and dragging it underneath the existing layer.
Any image imported on this layer will now show up underneath the template.
Open up the image you want to use for your banner and copy it so it’s on your clipboard. Go back to Photoshop and paste it in, you can do this by tapping Control + V or by going to Edit > Paste. You should now have something which looks similar to what I have below.
If you’re using the same images as I am the scale will be way off when you first import it. Click on the Move Tool and make sure you have Show Transform Controls checked at the top. Once this is turned on you will see some areas around the image that you can use to resize it. Grab one of the corners and hold down Shift on your keyboard. This will keep the image constrained perfectly so it’s impossible to make it look squished or deformed.
When you’re done you should have something which looks like this.
You can repeat this process until you have completed making your banner. In my example I didn’t cover the back area of the banner so I created another new layer underneath the template one and imported a second image to fill up all of the white space.
The next part in the process is to remove the excess areas which are outside of the banner template. Because the templates have a thick border this is very easy to do. Make sure you are happy with your banner design before proceeding as it will not be as easy to edit it past this point.
Hold down Shift and select every layer besides the one which has the banner template on it. With everything selected, right click and choose Merge Layers.
Your Layers panel should now look something like this. Both the front and back are all on one layer and the template is on another.
Select the Polygon Lasso tool by right clicking the Lasso tool on the Tools Menu. This will bring up a sub-menu where the Polygon Lasso tool will be an option.
Select the layer which has your design on it and trace around the areas which fall outside of the template. Because the border of the template is thick it doesn’t have to be precise, so long as it doesn’t go inside of the banner. You should have something which looks like this.
Hit Delete on your keyboard and you’re done! If you followed along with this guide exactly you should now have something which looks like this.
All you need to do now is save your work. Go to File > Save As and choose PNG on the drop down menu.
All you need to do now is test it out in Dota 2 to see how it looks. Navigate to your team profile by going to Community > My Teams > Edit Team Info. Import the banner we just created under the Team Banner Logo section.
To test it out on the map create a Private Lobby by going to Play > Create Lobby. When you join a team a drop-down menu will appear at the top which will allow you to select your team. This will activate your team logos on the map.
And there we have it! You have successfully created a stylized team banner to show off your team in-game. Have fun and be creative. See if you can come up with some unique shapes and ideas, think outside the box!
First things. Dissemble your tranq to make treads.
After you have those, get these!
If things get silly.

Meepo: An introduction.
Meepo is definitely the hardest hero to play well. The word well is emphasised because there is a difference between playing something and it working and playing something and completely destroying everyone. Meepo has the potential to, and often will, break an entire enemy team in a matter of seconds, IF you can do it right.
If you aren’t prepared to micro and practice hard, don’t bother with Meepoing.
Build order explained.
Poof is incredibly powerful, you want it maxed ASAP. Remember you can use it on yourself, so that you teleport nowhere and do double poof damage around you. (Leaving damage and arriving damage). Geostrike is maxed second because it have brilliant stacking slow and the damage it adds it fairly nice too. Your net is a great peice of kit, and the fact that it interrupts channeling means you get one point in it early, it means you can cancel some nasty ultimates, aswell as people teleporting to escape, other than that, its not as strong as other skills until later in the game, where you can chain 5 of them (1 per meepo) to enforce a total lockdown on a hero.
Your ultimate MUST be taken whenever possible. There is no exception to this rule.
How to Micro Better
This is only how I personally like to micro my Meepos it might not be the best way in existence, but it works fairly well for me, and I leave most games with 25+ kills and less than 10 deaths (it rarely goes over 5, but sometimes they have Gyrocopters or sand kinds who eat Meepos for breakfast).
I like to create 2 control groups. The first is my original Meepo. This enables you to switch to him immediately in order to use any active items on him when you need to. I then combine all other Meepos (EXCEPT the original Meepo) into a second group. The reason for this is blink-poofing, which will be explained later.
The best way to get off a fast, effective, group poof, is to press W, Click on the target, TAB and repeat. This will swap between Meepos one at a time and use poof, you can normally get all 5 to poof within about a second, maybe less. Once you give it a go, its not very hard, you are literally just mashing W, TAB and clicking.
To use your net, make sure you take into account its painfully long travel time, which increases with distance. It can be pretty difficult to land, but you should practice hard, and you’ll figure it out eventually. There isn’t much advice I can give other than to always aim ahead of a moving target. This can also be chained by the above Tab-Click spam, but you substitute your W for your Q.
Beyond this I generally use mouse control for any kind of splitting up of the Meepos or controlling them in different locations.
What should YOU be doing?
As a Meepo, you ALWAYS want the safe lane. This is because you want ready access to the jungle. Buy your first two items (Ring of Regen and Ring of Protection) and head to your lane. From there you ideally want some kind of ranged support who can look after you up to level 6. Anyone with slows is a brilliant combo as it allows you easy nets and thus can possibly secure first blood with a net and a poof.
Once you reach level 6 you’ll have your first clone. This is a good thing! You can now decide between a number of options, which you will have to choose which is best for the time, although I’ll try to give some decision making guidelines below.
1. Your team is having a good early game, and your lane is doing ok. If this is the case, you should focus on jungling. Jungling as Meepo is incredibly easy once you have your ulti. Go to a pack, double poof, they all die, advance to next pack. There is nothing more to that. Make sure you keep an eye on the lane and take opportunities to gank or help your team mate survive.
2. Your lane is having trouble. Stay in lane with both Meepos. This will mean you can 1 shot entire creep waves with a double poof, meaning you can push the lane easily and get a lot of gold while you’re at it. Be careful you don’t over extend and try to get some kills with net and poof.
3. Your lane is ok , but not as good as it could be. You are also confident you have good map awareness. Split your 2 Meepos. 1 can jungle, the other can help the lane. Remember if one of your Meeps run into trouble, you can poof across the map to assist him and secure more kills.
Blink Poofing
This is one of the things that makes Meepo such an excellent ganker, but it takes a LOT of practice, and can backfire and leave you exposed if you mess up. Don’t worry about it. No one gets these things instantly. It took me a good 2 weeks of practice, and even then I only land them perfectly 7 times out of 10.
Here is where your 2 control groups comes in handy. Quickly swap to just your original Meepo and identify him, maybe move him a little away from the others. Select your other control group, of all the rest of your clones, be they 1 or 4 in number. Quickly do your poof spam onto your original Meepo, you now have about a second to press your first control group, activate your blink dagger, and target your location of choice. This will mean that your first Meepo appears suddenly on the enemy hero or creepwave, and then is immediately followed by 4 other exploding Meepos, doing devastating damage and scaring the p*ss out of anyone nearby. You will almost always land kills with this.
The whole motion needs to be practiced until it becomes one fluid movement, you have to be able to do the whole thing in about 2 seconds for it to be at its most effective. Good luck!
BACKFIRES. Sometimes, you can misstime it. This will mean that only 1 or 2 Meepos ends up teleporting in, leaving you weak and few in number. You should try to immediately poof out again, or bring in the rest of your squadron as soon as possible to avo >
Arch-enemys, those who would deal death upon you.
People who you should be extremely careful with, are people with area of effect disables, or large area nukes. Warlock and Gyrocopter are the bane of my existence as a Meepo. Their ulti’s will wreck you. Completely. People with stuns such as Centaur Warrunner, and Slardar, should also be treated with caution. Finally, people who can easily pick off single targets. Pudge could cause problems, but if you are good, you can turn his hook right back on him, and poof to the k >

What Are French Cookware Brands, And Are They Better?
The French have a very well known reputation for producing exquisite and incredibly sophisticated foods and I would say that reputation translates to much of the French cookware brands also. But just because something is “French” does that mean it is better? Do you think something that is “French” or any other nationality that would mean it is better or worse than another brand? Sure, there are stereotypes and opinions built off experiences with products from a specific country, like China for example. If you were of the opinion that products made in China are of less quality than those made in France, would you be shocked to find out that some of the French brands are actually made in China for those French companies? Below you will find a list of 8 of the most well known (in America) French cookware brands in along with information about their products so you can evaluate each one.
Best Known French Cookware Brands
Cristel Cookware
Cristel cookware has been around since 1826 in France, although they are still not very well known in the US. Their products are actually made in France, so if you are looking for authentic French cookware, Cristel could be a good choice. Cristel offers both 3-ply and 5-ply cookware made from stainless steel and aluminum layers which feature removable handles, are stackable and are dishwasher safe.
de Buyer Cookware
de Buyer was founded in 1830 and has over 3000 cookware and kitchen items in the product catalog ranging from copper cookware to silicone molds and other gadgets like mandolins. While not being very well known in the US, their products are generally regarded with high quality by those who know about de Buyer. Many of their products are made in France, although there are just so many I can’t possibly check each one.
E. Dehillerin Cookware
E. Dehillerin are known as an iconic cookware shop in Paris, where they sell hand-crafted tinned copper cookware among other kitchen items. While shopping for French cookware in Paris is definitely something most foodies would consider a fantastic time, it unfortunately is not a reality for most of us. Luckily E. Dehillerin have an online shop and their products are also occasionally on eBay.
Emile Henry Cookware
Since 1850, Emile Henry cookware are manufactured in the Burgundy region of France, known for some exceptional wines. The clay and soil of the region contribute to these wines’ flavor and they also contribute to the Emile Henry cookware as the clay and soils from Burgundy are utilized to create Emile Henry ceramic cookware and bakeware.
Le Creuset Cookware
Le Creuset is probably the most well known brand of French cookware in America and can be seen in many shops around the country along with a large number of places online. They were established in 1925 in Fresnoy-le-Grand, France which was along a trade route for the raw materials they needed to manufacture their enamel coated cast-iron cookware. “Creuset” in French means cauldron where liquid cast iron was heated to a liquid state to create their products. Each piece of cast iron cookware is created with 2 molds created from sand to form the shape of the cookware, and then the molds are destroyed so each piece is unique. While most people will picture their signature enameled cast iron cookware, Le Creuset is now a multi-national company that manufactures many other products including stainless steel cookware sets and many other cooking tools. As such, not all their products are manufactured in France.
Matfer Bourgeat Cookware
Matfer Bourgeat began 200 years ago in France and is a moderately sized company with around 1000 employees which primarily focuses on creating products for commercial kitchens such as restaurants, hotels and other food service industries. Their cookware and other items are available to the general public but because of their focus toward the food service industry, their brand is not well known among most home cooks. They offer cookware made from copper, stainless steel, black steel cast iron and ceramic and many other traditional kitchen tools and specialty items.
Mauviel Cookware
Mauviel was established in 1830 in a village named Villedieu-les-Poêles, known as “the city of copper” in the Normandy region of France. They are well known by professional chefs. Emile Henry and Mauviel are somehow part of the same company although I don’t know which owns which.
Staub Cookware
Staub was founded in Alsace, France in 1974 but is now owned by J. A. Henckels and their cast iron cookware is still manufactured in France. Their cast iron cookware are manufactured using one-time-use molds similar to Le Creuset. They claim better moisture retention while cooking compared to competitors and “self-basting spikes on the lid create a rain-forest effect evenly returning juices back onto food.” For their ceramic line a higher quality ceramic that is less porous, although their ceramic cookware is made in China. I would like to know if you are familiar with the La rouge brand of cookware claiming to be made in France. They are also offering an induction hob and pressure cooker. Just would like to know if they are really authentic and real from France as they claim. Thank you.
No, I’m not. I am sure there are many smaller French cookware manufacturers that I haven’t ever heard of. They may or may not be really made in France so do your due diligence before you purchase them if that is important to you.
Hello, I am surprised to not find the brand “Chasseur3”? a historical brand of Invicta France for thei cookware. Their cocotes are used by the bext chef’s not only in France, and their quality is equal to Le creuset and cheaper. Professional actually noticed that the main cooking part are the same and the surrounding is actually more friendly and producing less carbons for cooking than le creuset.
Where is Mauviel?
I’m not sure what you mean, Scott. Mauviel is listed on this page and they are in Normandy.
bought a set of 5 copper pots for 40 euros at a sale in South France, and it appears the name embossed is BRAGATION..any idea the history and if it is safe to use them daily?
Cresset in French doesn’t mean cauldron it’s just a name
Thanks for your comment, CJ. Creuset translates to Crucible, which is a synonym of Cauldron so yes it doesn’t “exactly” translate to Cauldron. Both Cauldron and Crucible are containers for heating items, but Crucible in English is more focused toward industrial uses where Cauldron is used more to describe a cooking vessel.
I have a le crueset cast iron firing pan,,and a le buyer carbon steel pan love them
Has anyone heard of L Barbellio, we bought a very old small, tall copper pan with a lid in a brocant in the Creuse this morning?
I understand from reviews that Le Creuset is/are no longer made in France, but in China and Thailand. Correct ?
Yes, as a general rule the non-cast-iron products “may” be manufactured in other countries. England and Portugal as well are on the list. The cast-iron pieces are still made in France.
I recently bought an Isea pot. It is similar to Le Creuset at a thrift store. The date underneath is 1994. I m trying to find out where I can use it – oven and microwave. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Anita
I bought cookware by diffusal pressure cooker/pot. during the move the top valve that is required to make it be a pressure cooker is lost. do not know where i can find it. the pot and lid are in excellent shape but just cant use now. would also need the book that tells me how to use it.
There are 2 approaches when gambling on Dota 2. They are Dota 2 item betting and betting on matches with real money. Item betting is unique as it is only available on Valve platform games like Dota 2 and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. It was a massive boost to reinvigorate CS: GO and the player base as well as a great source of income for the game. Dota 2 betting sites for real money like Pinnacle have been online since 2010.
Moreover, bookies have realized the potential sums that they can earn from eSports, so they created a ton of introductory markets. In this article, we will take a look at both of the aspects, their advantages, and disadvantages, as well as how to get started with each of them. Keep reading to find the best Dota 2 item betting site for you!
Betting with Items
Item betting offers a safer avenue to gamble with than using real currency. For starters, a player does not have to deposit money or attach any source of currency like a card or a bank account to start gambling. They can safely buy items from Steam and then link their account with a website such as Dota 2 Wage and Dota 2 Lounge.
The Safety of Dota 2 Item Betting
To help facilitate any bets, sites like the Dota 2 Lounge use an escrow system. An automated account is created for every transaction that only the site has access to. The account is entirely AI driven, and once a bet is placed the account will request the needed items from every party that is associated. Trades and wagers will not start until all parties have deposited the needed items into the account. And that is basically how Dota 2 item betting works.
Registering and Placing a Bet on Dota 2 Lounge
The site uses the Steam API that is available to handle the authentication and login. That provides a sense of safety. All Dota 2 Lounge users have to link their Steam accounts, and the authentication is done entirely through Steam. For a first time user making an account, the typical Steam security measures will be in place. Users have to perform the 2 step verification process by supplying a code that is sent to their email to Dota 2 Lounge. Thus, signing up and logging in the Dota 2 Lounge involves the exact same procedure and process as signing into Steam. The 3rd layer of security is also given in the form of CAPTCHA to help thwart bots from spamming the process.
Once the player has created an account and has managed to log in, their items will sync up with the site. A list of upcoming matches to gamble on will also be displayed. Here is a step by step process on how to bet on the Dota 2 Lounge:
At the top of the page, there are two available options: Bets and Trades. By clicking on Bets, you will be taken to the upcoming matches section of the website.
A list of active matches will be available there detailing every team that is playing, their region, as well as the projected percentage of every team’s chances of winning.
For example, we will choose the upcoming Vega vs Liquid match to wager on. After clicking on the match, we are brought to the main screen of the match.
To use Dota 2 Lounge, you must provide your Steam Trade URL. It will remain entirely anonymous.
Potential reward values will also be displayed here, and a live stream, the number of placed bets, the number of wagered items, as well as a ton of other important info.
Now that we have found the proper match and linked our Steam Trade URL, we are able to place a wager! You can bet up to four items at a time.
Every item carries a monetary value based mainly on its rarity.
After choosing Place Bet, you will be taken to the My Bets section of your account. It is there that the escrow account will be available for you and other users to deposit items. Once everything has been deposited, the bet is finalized.
Once that happens, you will no longer have access to your in-game items until the match is completed. Users can swap the team they prefer to wager on before the start of the match, but they cannot cancel the wager.
Betting with Real Money
Gambling has been around for quite a long time, growing in tandem with professional sports. Since eSports keep rising in popularity, it was only a matter of time until bookies caught up with the growing trend. Famous bookmakers like Pinnacle, Bet365, and Betway, have already established a massive presence. Unfortunately, this market is primarily limited to Asian and European countries because of the betting laws in America and abroad.
Is Gambling with Real-Money Secure?
Inherently, gambling with real money will not be as safe as doing so with items. For starters, personal information has to be stored on these sites for withdrawal and deposit purposes. The safety of having all your details facilitated and stored through Steam is also not available. For this reason, it is strongly stressed to perform because of diligence prior to placing a wager on any of these sites. Check reviews from other users for every company, ensure yourself that they have recognized and active betting licenses, and do not forget to proceed with caution and perform the test we recommend here. If it does not feel safe, simply do not do it. With that said, Pinnacle, Bet365, and Betway have been around for a long time and are considered quite reputable.
Registering and Placing a Bet on Pinnacle
For our second example, we will use Pinnacle to place a real-money bet. Here is a detailed process:
Create an account on Pinnacle if you still do not have one.
When doing so, ensure that you pick the right monetary denomination that you will use to deposit with.
Once you have supplied your personal details and created an account, you will have a new menu available at the top of the screen. The initial step to place a new wager will be depositing money.
If you click on Deposit, you will be brought to a new page, divided into 2 columns. The column on the left is an active list of methods which you can use to deposit money, while the right one is a list of methods to withdrawal your winnings.

Every champion deserves a symbol worthy of their victory. Following the exciting conclusion of the 2011 International, we began work on an award to honor the names of the tournament’s victorious. We knew that such a prize needed to be substantial in both size and character, and that it should be able to carry the names of future champions for years to come.
Having seen the superb craftsmanship of the weapons and props for The Lord of the Rings emerge from the hands of the artists at Weta, we felt it was a natural decision to approach the Academy Awards-winning physical effects studio to create the grand prize for the International. Weta has an unparalleled talent for taking fantasy and transforming it into reality.
Our design brief to Weta consisted of a fully rendered 3D model of the Aegis of Champions, complete with conceptual artwork and several ideas to work from. The goal was to create a stunning bronze and silver artifact that would look at home in the world of Dota 2 while also acting as a historical record of the tournament’s victories. We also wanted it to be something that would be useful in a sword fight (as sword fights happen a lot around the Valve offices).
Inspired by Norse and Chinese design themes, we intended the shield to feel as eclectic as our hero line-up while still maintaining a sophisticated and clean overall design. Since the Aegis is both a functional shield and a trophy, its circular silhouette is broken by a pair of concave indentations allowing a for a natural grip when the victorious hold it over their head. The most striking feature of the Aegis of Champions is its central relief, which depicts the constant struggle between the Dire and Radiant forces. The result is a unique object of profound beauty that is truly worthy of celebrating, and protecting, the best of the best.
Constructing the Aegis of Champions involved the work of many skilled artists as well as the use of a number of tools and machines. Each step in its formation, from determining the scale of the shield, to building the casts, to deciding the right materials to be used, involved a pain- staking level of detail and collaboration.
Once the size had been determined, it was time to prepare the 3D model for the CNC milling machines. This is a process Weta uses often to produce a physical object from a 3D file. From a solid piece of tooling board emerges a fully formed physical object, albeit still a bit rough around the edges.
Even if the end result is a one-off, as is the case with the Aegis of Champions, the development process often requires up to 10 copies to be made for approvals purposes, different stylistic treatments and comparisons. Once everything is finalized, the completed Aegis is made ready for presentation.
The finished Aegis of Champions was assembled from a variety of materials chosen for their strength and beauty, creating an enduring trophy for the Dota 2 community. The bulk of the shield is cold cast bronze which has been inlaid with hand-tooled leather. The central battle motif is surrounded by cured dragon’s skin, and made from pure electroplated silver. On the reverse is affixed the winners’ plaque, large and circular, pressed from a single sheet of Sterling silver and engraved with the names and handles of each player on the winning teams.
After pouring more than three hundred hours of passion and creativity into the Aegis of Champions, the ultimate prize for victory in the International was finally complete. We are very proud of the work and energy Weta has put into producing this iconic symbol for the Dota 2 community.
The 2012 International crowned a new champion with Invictus Gaming (iG). Beating last year’s champion Natus Vincere (Na’Vi) three games to one to win the Aegis of Champions. The exciting final match wasn’t the only highlight, we have daily recaps available here – Day 1, Day 2, Day 3.
In addition to The Aegis of Champions, Weta will also be producing exceptionally detailed replicas of Vanguard, Butterfly and Demon Edge, as well as a statue of the hero Axe. These collector’s items, brought into our world by the skill of Weta artisans, are now available for pre-order.
As a grunt in the Army of Red Mist, Mogul Khan set his sights on the rank of Red Mist General. In battle after battle he proved his worth through gory deed. His rise through the ranks was helped by the fact that he never hesitated to decapitate a superior.
The tales called Butterfly a blade of betrayal, for it is said that in the hands of the uncertain, swinging the sword brings with it a promise of disaster. To use the blade properly it is said one must trust it completely, allowing it to wield the user.
Demon Edge has passed from hand to hand, though only a hero may carry her for long. For in this single weapon, the warring Ancients vie. What lesser mortal can hope to wield such power?
The hellwether emblem of the Vanguard is familiar to all who fight and bleed in the contested lands. Inscribed with ancient runes of protection, this shield of the Vanguard was discovered to provide its bearer with magical protection against damage.
